Kayak
I would suggest a new Jackson Coosa, you wont find a better stream/river fishing situp (actually designed by a fisherman) imo.

Powell Rods?
I was looking at the Powell website and was wondering what others think of the Powell rods overall. How comparable to Loomis GL2's are they? Sensitivity and overall feel? I was looking at the 6'8'' Medium XF spinning for a dropshot setup and the Medium Heavy for a utility setup.

Re: Citica CI200DPV
I have never used the DPV model but own 2 200DSV's and love them both. One of the best for the money and great for all applications.

Shimano Symetre spool question
I have the 1500. It wound evenly out of the box the first few times then started winding to the rear. I removed 3 washers, since I use Florocarbin and I winds most of it to the front. I have found I have alot less problems with the line now. If you are using Mono then you want it more to the rear of the spool

Shimano Citica or Cardiff????
Which one of these reels would be the best for jig fishing??? And which one would give the least ammount of backlash problems in doing so???

Re: Shimano Question
Well Gentelman, I went to Sportsman Warehouse today and purchased the Citica 200DSV. And all I can say is WOW. When I was growing up my Grandfather taught me to use baitcasters with an ambasador 5500, and the round baitcasters were all I have been using since. Once I got this citica set up right for my soft plastics, I dont even have to feather the spool that much. I am completely sold on Shimano reels now and will be going back next week to purchase another one. Thanks for all the input
