  11. I'm in the market for a new finesse rod, the rod will be used for shaky head, wacky rigs, drop shot, and weightless worms. i have looked at the dobyns savvy series, they look pretty nice. what are some other options that you would recommend? :-?
  12. No matter what you use for a "jug" always use circle hooks to hook fish with less effort, some great bait options are - live bait (bluegill, goldfish, shiners,or creek chubs) -raw, shelled shrimp -chicken breast -ivory soap -cut bait (any bait fish cut up into pieces) hope this helps you out.

  15. ABSOLUTELY I've fished jigs for several years and bar-none the 1/4oz black bitsy bug tipped with an uncle Josh's black and blue phantom finesse craw(hint) has caught 99.9% of my jig fish, they are great.
  16. soak them in salt water overnight to get out any bugs, then coat them in ranch dressing, and roll them in cornmeal, then fry them in butter or margarine, oh goodness, i just made myself soooo hungry. ;D
  17. yes, dry-land fish is just a nickname, sorry for the confusion.
