Type Of Line For Jigs
What's a good size fluoro to spool on a BC, the heaviest jigs I use are 3/4oz (most are 1/2)? I would like to use the same setup for deep cranks, if possible.

Favorite Braid
By far the Power Pro 8! Have #40 and #30, love them both.

Chickahominy Lake
@Sam:I'm finding this to more true than ever. The Chick has been a rough spot for me. I've only launched out Eagles' once/twice. Hopefully this fall season changes things for me.

Chickahominy Lake
I'm hitting the Chick Lake this weekend, I wanted to know will this still hold true for this time of the year? Never had any success out Eagles, looking to head out tackle it agian.

Best Fall Baits
Endless: Since that day in Powhatan, I've been casting and flipping jigs, but more so swimming jigs w/ rage craw trailer. Swimming it slow, bumping the bottom and occassionally dropping it dead and letting it sit. Or I'll pop it off the bottom and sink and sit, before repeating. I prefer casting jigs over any other, for all applications. All I change is the size for depth. Still like the T-rig craws and white/chart spinnerbaits w/ double willow in the fall.

Hurricane Irene Slows Down Bass Fishing On The East Coast!!
Ruined my chance to go smallie fishing on the James this weekend. With the predictable raising water after rain, I won't be fishing there for at least two weeks.

Powerpro Vs Sufix 832
What do you think about new PP 8 versus Sufix Performance? Is color fading and running huge with Sufix Performance, I know it's too early to determine that with the new PP 8, unless someone experienced it. Thinking of getting a hi-vis color...since I don't fish very clear water, so color shouldn't have an affect on catch rate.

Powerpro Vs Sufix 832
Any thoughts on PP Super 8 Slick? Has anyone tried it?
-
Powerpro Vs Sufix 832
Not concerned with collor fading. More so I want to spool the reel with quality braided line. What color does the Sufix 832 fades to...a lighter shade of green or is the color completely striped to white?

Powerpro Vs Sufix 832
I have PP #20 on my spinning tackle, never any concerns of digging on it. I only narrowed it down to those two because they were the most mention on the site. I'm opened to other suggestions. @endless: I have a Citica 201e, under sure of the rod right now.

@Sam: Only one place I can think of....INNSBROOK(LAKE ROOTY)!

Powerpro Vs Sufix 832
What do many of you recommend for first time use of braid on baitcaster? The setup primary use would be for pitching/flipping jigs and plastics. From reading other topics, higher diameter lines are recommended to reduce digging. But what's a better line; PowerPro (moss green or hi-vis yellow) or Sufix 832? And should I use #40 or #50 line?

Its Hot The Fish Are Biting Central Va Lets Get Together
Thanks, I looked at a few of these rods online. No time table to when I want to get it on the water. I'm pretty content with the two spinning rods and one BC I'm using now. I know definitely by next spring...lol. Thinking about putting the reel on my current Carbonlite 6'6 MH rod with braid and put my carbonlite reel on a Carbonlite 6'6 Med rod for casting. Who knows...

The Citica 201d from s13john. Met up with him on Sunday. Can't wait to find a rod and use it.

I stayed with mono, just spooled some sulfix seige 14# and loving it. Just got another reel, a Shimano (should hear the excitement in my voice saying "shimano"), and highly considering spooling it with braid. After talking with s13john and hookingem out briery, I'm feeling a little more confident in trying braid on my second bc. Considering pairing it with a good rod for flipping/pitching.
