  8. Nice little brownie! They are so fun! In my top 5 fish for sure! They get BIG and fun to catch! J Francho has caught a BEAUTY, but he is being humble about posting his picture! Jeff
  9. In the last ten days, we are starting to see a rise in the water level with the recent rains. We have also seen an explosion in activity on the lake. Recent trips by Brad Netherton, Shane and Travis Ryal produced plenty of fish between 8 and 12.9 lbs. Fantastic crank bait action but also fishing worms along the flooded timber is producing 50 – 70 fish a day. We are posting pictures over the next couple of weeks in the new photo gallery as proof of these amazing catches. We have groups arriving the lodge this weekend and we will have reports for you next week! - See more at: http://www.lakebacca...h.VmYRHkCX.dpuf Jeff
  10. Hope your guys are catching like they are at Baccarac this week....... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/121032-lake-baccarac-lodge-fishing-report/ Jeff

  12. I cannot compare apples to apples on this one, as the Pinnacle I have is a spinning rod and the Avids are not. But what I can tell you is that compared to my St Croix elite spinning rod, the Pinnacle is lighter AND more sensitive. Just feels better in you hand. And in this case, it is under half the price....
  13. Welcome to the forums! Jeff
  14. Hawgtech is the best for the money! Contact them...they are great guys! Jeff
  15. Not me. I like going after those spooted bass. Jeff
  16. Both are over.... dont give them a black eye. One up them and go with us and catch a bigger one!!!!! Jeff
  17. I think I have at least a dozen of the ones you are wanting to throw......... Jeff
  18. Not such an easy choice. The avids are great rods, and I own at least half a dozen of them. But I am OVERLY impressed with my DCH5 spinning rod, so much so that I would probably choose it over the avid. Now, the avid does fish a little heavier, keep this in mind. Also, Pinnacle is releasing the DCH7 at ICast right now, so there might be a deal to be found on the DCH5's soon! Jeff
  19. I normally buy 2-3 of everything, even if I have not yet fished it. Then if I like it, or catch fish on it, who knows. Too many. Ask anyone who has fished with me. If I am catching fish on something they might not have, I ALWAYS have plenty for them, and most of the times in several colors. Its a bad habit, but better for my health than other habits!!!! Jeff
  20. Its a smallie. Probably lots of fun on the spinning gear and inline spinner! Congrats and welcome to Bass Resource! Jeff
  21. Big ones being caught at Baccarac the last couple days! Hope your fishing partner and his BIL get into some like these from Baccarac......
  22. Flava fishes?? HAHA! Nice! Jeff
  23. Glad everything is working out better so far. Keep us up to date on how it turns out! Jeff
  24. Stitch, you are my number 1 priority when you can make it. I don't care if the 2 of us go by ourselves! We will make it down!!! Whenever you are ready, so am I! Jeff
  25. This is a culmination of the video that did not get lost from my cameras and my buddy Jimmy's camera. This is just the highlights. We caught 6 Stripe Marlin and 1 Dorado. Also the other video I posted last week.... Jeff
