  1. Well my biggest fish was ~30%. I was embarrassed to post it up!!!! Jeff
  2. If the bottom in 15-20 fow, jig or shakey head. If the fish are holding in 15-20 fow, a deep crank, scrounger jig/trailer, or a spinnerbait. Also have been known to break out the spoon! Jeff
  3. I don't have many as the shows are "their shows" and not mine, BUT, it really irks me when a TV host has his own show, but fishes with another species guide and tells them what to do. I undertand you are a guide and a good fisherman, but the guy you are fishing with does this every day. Listen to them! Jeff
  4. If you want the Dobyns Champion, I would suggest the 764. It is rated 1/4- 1 1/2 oz. The 763 would work too, but only goes up to 1 oz. I would stick with the heavier rod. JMO Jeff
  5. Same here, but we use old Gatorade bottles. The plastic seems to be a little more durable. keep them in your cooler and add a new one every hour and a half or so! Also recirculate that water often! Jeff
  6. 7'6'' MH/F or H/F. Make sure you stay within your rod weight limits. That will determine the MH or H. I know a couple guys who like the ducketts but a ton of guys(here on BR) who like the dobyns. You will get a myriad of opinions here. Just wait! Jeff

  10. Welcome to posting on the forums! Glad you have learned so much! Jeff
  11. I caught this one on my 1st cast. Then the very next morning caught this one. That being said, they were the only 2 fish caught so far on Hudds. I have chunked them quite a bit since then as well. Both were caught on a 68 slow crawling it on the bottom! I'm putting in the time looking for that monster again! Jeff
  12. My two main spots I fish are 40 mins and 1hr 45 mins. respectively. There are ponds closer but the closest boatable lakes are all 40 mins + Jeff

  18. Sounds like a great time to me! And a new fisherman hooked! Congrats! Jeff
  19. I throw the 68's as well. They weigh a bit over the 2 oz rating on the carbonlite, but I will tell you that it will work. Start with that since you already have it and see how deep you want to get into the swimbait addiction. Oh, I mean these bait don't work. Jeff
