Welcome to the forums! I am sure you will learn plenty here! Try this thread..... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/13845-guaranteed-to-catch-bass/ Jeff
  4. Most of the fish were caught on the main lake in 8-12 fow. I would start behind the islands between dry and yellow!!!! Jeff
  5. LOL....I would love to have that on camera! America's funniest videos, here we come! Jeff
  6. Congrats! You have many fine lakes in our area. May I suggest a trout style swimbait...... Jeff

  8. J, How deep will the cranks go on your 20?
  9. Seems like it will work just fine then. Just need to experiment a little with the right line and drag setting. That is what I figured. Jeff
  10. I have a deep cranking rod for here. St croix mh/m. This will be left at travel destination year round for use, but should only need it to crank 1 week a year. Jeff

    Happy Birthday bud! Jeff
  12. This rod would be mainly for other purposes but 1 week a year a deep crank. And that is all I would throw that one week so it is important for that. Jeff
  13. Good to know everything is going well! Keep heading that way, and you will be back on the water in no time! BTW- you never told me you had any gold...... Keep us in the loop! Jeff
  14. Sucks about the rods, but at least you felt a tug on your line today! Jeff
  15. Your killing them. Keep at em! I see another "sho nuff biggun" in your near future! Jeff
  16. Anyone one here deep crank with a heavy/fast rod and then use mono and a light drag? I need a rod to handle deep and heavy cranks, and was wondering if anyone has successfully used a 7'6'' h/f for with mono/flouro for stretch and a lighter drag setting. I don't think it would hurt the arms/wrists as bad either..... Jeff
  17. Man that cat pic is nice! Keep em coming! Jeff
  18. Welcome to the forums! Jeff
  19. I caught 20 more fish Sunday. That equates to $10 more on my donation. I am keeping the rolling counter in my signature! Jeff
  20. Welcome to the forums! Jeff
  21. Congrats on the PB!!! Jeff
  22. I'm not 100% but I am pretty sure water gremlin makes a removable split shot with no ridges! Jeff
  23. 25-14 huh? Why are you doing so poorly? Geez, If that doesn't make us mere mortals feel bad, I don't know what would. Yesterday my 5 fish would have been 15-7. And in a smallie tournament I would have had 0lbs. Keep it up! BTW- what was the main jerkbait of the day? Jeff
