  13. Trying to convince those old dudes to leave the smallies for Pickwick is like telling them they aren't welcome back to Mexico. It just ain't happening!!! No guns or guards or anything of the like. Just good times, margaritas, laughs and a few bass. A FEW BIG BASS!!!! Jeff
  14. :thumbsup1: Sounds good to me! Jeff
  15. I actually have the gorilla pod. But it is very short. I brought down (2) 2' sections of pvc with a joint and drilled a tripod mount into the cap portion. Just didn't have anywhere to mount it in their boats. My boat, my setup is pretty solid, but I want to figure out a good thing for traveling. As rough as they are on the boats, I wouldn't want to mount anything hanging outside the boat anywhere... Jeff
  16. Speed I hope you make it down for the next trip!!! I am looking up Gorilla pod now. Jeff
  17. Scott there are none here. 0 issues. Only danger is having your arm broken by a "Grande" Jeff
  18. Tackle Used: BCR854GLX with Chronarch 200E7 20lb Flouro AVC70HF with Curado 200E7 20lb Flouro AVC70MHF with Curado 200E7 50lb braid with 20lb Flouro leader AVC70MHM with Curado 200E5 40lb braid with 17lb mono leader Spare reel was Chronarch 50MG with 20lb Flouro We all still had break offs. I think it is a part of the deal down there. My biggest fish came on Hudd68. But others in my big bag came on scrounger/fluke, weightless fluke, t-rigged 8" lizard and LC Gunfish/Megabass Pop-max. Others baits of notable mention are the trick worm and spinnerbaits. Jeff
  19. We used the Luck-e-strike brand. They were good for a few fish. There is no REALLY good option out there, but these worked for us. Jeff

  21. Make sure to use a traditional t-rigged bait as your drop shot presentation instead of a nose hooked bait. Should make the hook set the same! Jeff
  22. I have used 6lb hybrid original treated with KVD line and lure for the past couple of years on my spinning rods, and love it. Jeff
  23. Main forages are tilapia and shad. Jeff
