  2. We went Sunday. 6 bass, 2 bream and a catfish below the dam. Most bass were on poppers. 1 bream on popper and 1 on spoon. Catfish on a crank. Thats a SLOW day for the river! Jeff
  3. No mention of SM in your good to eat fish? I think they are one of the best! Also a rating of 1.5 for redfish? I hae a buddy who filets them with the scales on, does his thing to them and then wraps them in tin foil and puts them on the grill! Some of the best eating ever! Jeff
  4. Congrats on the new PB! Jeff
  5. More than 1 fish an hour this time of the year is good. There are certain times when that would be outstanding, and others when that would be slow. Jeff

  7. Lake anna: 12 hrs 43 mins/808 miles Kerr lake: 12 hrs 44 mins/ 789 miles Pickwick: 2 hrs 15 mins/119 miles LOL Jeff
  8. Lizards are made to be fished on the bottom. Not slow rolled. It should take more than 1 minuet to retrieve a cast, with pauses of at least 10 seconds(count them) between moving the rod or reeling. Jeff
  9. The reaction series is based on a slower blank, made for reaction style baits(ie: cranks) Jeff
  10. Hope you guys/gals have a blast. Sorry it is so far away, that I cannot make it! Jeff

  12. Congrats on the upgrades! I have taken on a couple of these myself. They are very rewarding! Jeff
  13. Just make sure the "pro staffer" doesn't run it in the ground first. They don't keep the boat for the long haul, so they tend not to take as good of care as most would like! Jeff
  14. Make sure to take the boat to a qualified mechanic and have the engine checked out as well as the entire hull! Should be a 2 in ball Jeff
  15. I fish all year long. My wife wishes I didn't! So I do take off some weeks in the dead of summer, just so she thinks I don't fish too much! Jeff
  16. For me is Pickwick dam. Jeff
  17. I will be there on Sunday. Launching at the dam as well. Will let you know. Jeff
  18. How the times fly! Fish with them as much as you can! Jeff
  19. Now that is good stuff. Jeff
  20. For moving baits, the absolute most sensitive rod is not that important. Make sure it fits the lure/line rating you wish to throw. For bottom contact rods, get the best you can afford! Jeff
  21. Great fish as usual. Do you take your own pics, or is someone always there to help? Jeff
  22. Make sure when you are tying tour knot, you give a good amount of saliva as well. Keep everything wet and cool when tying that knot. Jeff
  23. Would love to come beach hopping. Get some meds for those elbows and get back after it. Jeff
  24. Awesome Patrick. I'll come visit you one Saturday and we will go to a game and then fish on Sunday. Get us a good hole! Jeff
  25. Thanks guys and welcome back scrutch! We were worried about ya! Jeff
