Can You Guess How Big?

Featured Replies

While this is not the biggest fish in the world, it is my new pb and I am stoked and disappointed by this catch. I have had it weighed on a certified scale. Can you you guess the weight?

I'm sorry about the bad photo. Someone else took it.

Nice fish for sure. That's a pig around here.

i guess 4.2 lb and that is a real nice fish

4.4 with that big head and skinny body and assuming that the average males middle finger is around 4 inches in length put that fish right around 20 inches, at least by my calculations :)

I estimate the length of the fish to be 23". But it is a skinny fish. The fish weight calculator on this site says 6.9lb. However it is a skinny fish. Once I caught a skinny fish of 21" and the weight was way off. It was off by about 2lbs or 35%. And this fish look even skinner that that one. So I take 45% off 6.9 x 0.55 = 3.8 lbs Close?

Ok how much?......

Alrighty, the magic weight is....... 5lbs 12oz. She was pretty skinny but she had a couple of nice sized bluegill in her gullet. Could have pulled them out if I wanted to. So GoTakeANap and mikey5string are the closest, congrats.
