  1. Slap, I use both the green and the purple smoke. It depends on your water color and clarity Jeff
  2. Sorry to hear of your bad luck, but you know where she is hiding. I expect to hear this story again, but with a picture!!! Jeff
  3. Welcome to the board! Both ponds are public. Just do a Google maps search for grove park, Memphis tn. Easiest way to find it. Thanks Carlton. Glad you have been tearing up the trout. Might make it back up there this year, if not for sure my yearly trip in February! Jeff
  4. I put out these pvc "sputnik" style attractors as well as the pallet pyramids you can see in the back. Jeff
  5. Those are some great reports for Memphis area. Really makes me wanna go get on the river for some trout to. Been since February since I did that! Jeff
  6. When I went to El Salvador the inlet passing was just as rough as that if not worse every day. They said once a 60'er went over straight backwards when trying to get out. Everyone should know that once you get past the inlet, it calms down a good bit. Jeff

  15. Without a doubt my favorite spinning rod is a pinnacle perfecta 6'8" ml/f. It is rated 1/16-3/8 and would be perfect for what you are looking for. Mine is paired with a shimano ci4 2500 and is the closest to perfect I have felt on a spinning rod. Everyone I have ever let use it thinks so too Jeff
  16. After a couple days of that, anybody would have a hard time holding them up! LOL Jeff
  17. I have a core 50mg7, a chronarch 50mg and a couple curado 50e's. If it is weight you are wanting to save on, I say go for the core. But if you would like to save some money, a curado 50e, tuned and new bearings from DVT would be the way to go. I don't regret my core, but have bought at least 3 50e's since! Jeff
  18. Congrats on the beauty! Jeff
