  1. Awesome! Looks like frog/rat heaven! Jeff
  2. Nice Paul! We still need to get together! Jeff
  3. Nice job! Congrats! Jeff
  4. Congrats to Rett! Jeff
  5. Ohhhh....I'm jealous! Jeff
  6. Keep trying and don't give up! Jeff
  7. I understand. But you do have to admit that wire/thread will last a lot longer than silicone or rubber bands in the long run! The probability of you losing it before this happens is great, but I do have some OLD ones! Jeff
  8. But what you are missing is the infinite combinations of colors and designs when you hand tie. Not to mention the added bonus of being able to bulk up your skirts, or for that matter slim them down. I will never buy another "mass produced" jig the rest of my life! Jeff
  9. Check out this place tinboats.net wealth of info over there! Jeff
  10. My 70ml/f is my favorite spinning rod I own! I am soon to buy another! Jeff
  11. I sure wish someone had this as a screenshot. I know there is at least one spring at my club that I have yet to find. I don;t know if the water temp is that much different though. It is a feed from the Mississippi river, so it should be cooler, but how much I do not know....... Jeff
  12. I am too interested in this! Anyone have a screenshot? Calling Wayne!!!!!! Jeff
  13. Well maybe I will have to give an FJ a shot, but compared to my FI, the ci4 blows it away! I can admit when I am wrong, looks like a 2500 fj paired with a Pinnacle 70ml/f is on my short list! Jeff
  14. I'm all over it. Let me know when they are available Jeff
  15. I disagree with any of those reels being anywhere close to the ci4. FJ is 2.5 oz heavier and for $20 more you can have the ci4. Same as for the saros. I believe the ci4 to be the best reel for the money. JMO Jeff I have both the ci4 and the stradic! (btw I am comparing the 2500 series as that is the one I have)
  16. I like a jig, pick your color of choice. And when fishing deep, I ALWAYS tip my trailer with JJ's Magic. Sometimes in deeper water, the fish are more finicky or the bite is not as detectable! I use the JJ's for confidence/help when I don't feel the bite instantly. Jeff
  17. What about weight? Any comparisons to stock Shimano handles? I am interested! Jeff
  18. My ci4 is the bomb! I have it in 2500 size paired with a Pinnacle 70 ml/f. It is my favorite combo! My Pinnacle rod is better IMO, than my st croix legend elite!!!! My other suggestion would be a Chronarch 200e7. Both reels are spooled with Yo-zuri hybrid (6# and 12#) and always use KVD line and lure. Jeff
  19. Chris you are only invited if you wear a HOG HAT!!!!!!! Jeff
  20. I tried the double prop because I like the Devil's horse so much. It works well and has far superior paint, hooks, props and such to the dh. But it does sit lower in the water, so if you are fishing and need to be UP REALLY HIGH in the water, it might not be for you! Jeff
  21. I have no experience with either one of these, but if I were to buy a $150 combo, it would be a clearance Revo S ($109) or Pro Q ($99) and a Shimano sellus for $49. Jeff
  22. You would! Jeff
  23. Man I was trying to stay out of this thread like a fly off sticky paper. Scorcher tried to bring me in, but nobody realized. And now this......LOL. Thanks for the compliments! btw- I own LOTS of Shimano equipment!

  25. I highly recommend the BR trip. Pickwick is gonna be the best road trip yet!!!!! Jeff
