1980's worm question
This is the exact color! Thanks! I am gonna get some to use, just for the memory! I am sure they still work! Jeff I actually liked the squirmin worm a bunch several years ago when they still made the "purple fire tail" they call it "electric blue firetail" I think in the 8". For some reason they DQ'ed it.... Jeff

Very possible that tail looks more like it. Wish I could see them out of the pack... Thanks. I will check those out also! Jeff

1980's worm question
Yes. Very similar to that one! Packaging doesn't look familiar but that was 25+ yrs ago.... Jeff

1980's worm question
Nope. Not fire and ice. That was a staple as well. This was all the way clear- with blue and red flakes. Jeff

1980's worm question
OK members who have been fishing longer than I have been alive...... I caught my fist "big bass" on a t-rigged worm. This worm was clear/see through with red and blue fleck in it. best I can remember it was a 6" curly tail worm. Who made it? My dad got this fish mounted for me, 4lb 9 oz when I wasn't even 7 yet. Just wanted to be able to complete the story with the brand of worm it was. Seemed back then the main brands were: Creme, Zoom, Culprit and Mister Twister. Can't find that color on any of them, I am sure it is no longer made.... Jeff

I know you guys hate these threads, but you gotta take a look at this one!
Congrats on the new PB. Sucks you didn't have a scale. I am thinking in the 9 lb range but that is purely a guess. Jeff

Reel Covers?
I use the Shimano reel covers on all of my reels - casting and spinning. The rod glove ones looks nice though. Might have to check them out1 Jeff

Don't throw braid in gin clear water.
Nice one! Congrats! She sure is pretty! But you probably would have broken 9lbs if you would have used ***Brand X*** nearly invisible line! Jeff

How to flip / pitch / cast like a pro
Easiest way to practice. Get a milk crate to stand on and pitch until you are tired at least 3 days a week! Jeff

So they backed out.
Same thing has happened here. I am finding my fish in the first third of coves and even back all the way out to the main lake, but the key for me has been steep banks! Jeff
