If the water is anything like Pickwick- Yes. Muddy with the rain and snow runoff. Also pulling a ton of current. Usually a good time to fish, but water clarity is tough right now. Only time I have ever been skunked on Pickwick was last Sunday Jeff

Other than tecnique, my buddies didn't tell me anything else. Sorry. I do know they fished 4 days and their worst sack was 23lbs. They were on the fish for sure! Jeff

This rod will be for Peacock in Brazil. Topwater wood choppers and such. Reel will be a 200 size Shimano with 60-80lb braid. Jeff
