Yeah, I would have last night, but it was just a spur of the moment trip. I only had one rod and the lure that was tied on.

Went fishing last night at a local pond around 10. I was throwing a little 1/8 oz buzzbait on a MH Carbonlite with 6 pound Yo-Zuri that I usually do pretty well with at this place. Fishing about 10' to 20' out parallel to the bank. No strikes for about 20 minutes then I finally moved spots. Got to another spot and after about 10 casts I finally got a hit. BAM! Missed it. Started casting a little further out and got another huge strike. Missed it. This thing was huge! Like Shamu was jumping out of the water. I was pretty angry at that point because I usually do so well with this little buzzer, but not tonight. Got my composure back and started casting it out there some more. 20 more casts and another strike. Missed her again. At that point I was done. Couldn't get a hook up and I was sick of trying. I guess I'm not used to losing so many fish, let alone ones I know are big. The second could have been a new PB, but who knows. I guess that's what keeps us coming back though. The thought of a new PB gets the heart pumping and the hands shaking. Headed back out there tonight. Wish me luck!
  3. In my experiences they are usually carp. I see them a lot walking the banks of the ponds I fish. It seems that carp spook a lot easier than bass do, or at least that's what I have found.
  4. Ok, no one is changing their mind. Let's agree to disagree.
  5. There is more you have to do as a coach then teach the players to be better on the court. There is so much ego involved with superstars like Jordan, Kobe, Shaq, and Pippen. Jordan and Pippen did not like each other. Phil Jackson solved that. Kobe wasn't a team player. Phil Jackson solved that. Without Phil Jackson being able to coach the actual people inside the players, he wouldn't have won a championship. That's why he was a great coach.
  6. I would snap some pictures and let her go probably. Then call all of my fishing buddies of course. I don't know the number of fish and game in Ohio so I wouldn't know who to call to get it certified anyway.
  7. Every good coach has good players. Teams don't win unless they have good players. Coaches are a huge part of bringing the team together and creating chemistry. Remember the Heat at the beginning of this season? They sucked because they had no chemistry with each other. Spoelstra had a lot to do with bringing those guys together and there are two all stars on that team. Also, you think Red Auerbach was a better coach than Phil Jackson? Why? He had a ton of talent on his teams too. He did nothing with the Celtics until Bill Russell came along and he had Cousy before that. And don't forget that some other guys coached the same teams that Jackson did and couldn't do anything with them.
  8. A Pflueger President and a Bass Pro Carbonlite.
  9. Could you have won championships with them? Please don't say yes.
  10. Funniest thing I've read on here in awhile.
  11. What's the budget? I personally would get a Pflueger President regardless of budget. Depending on how much you want to spend, the rod is a different story. If the Ugly Stik works for you, I would just get another, but maybe a little longer like 6'6" or 7'. If you want a higher quality rod, but not too expensive, I would get a Berkley Lightning Rod or an Abu Garcia Vendetta. This is all assuming you are talking about spinning rods and reels.
  12. There are only a few other coaches that could have done what Jackson did even with the help of Jordan and Kobe. In my mind, that says a lot about how good of a coach he was.
  13. Yes. I was surprised by Odom because he is usually a stand up guy, but Bynum, that's a different story. He has done things like this before and I completely agree he should miss a lot of next season. I guess I'm a little bias though since I'm a Celtics fan and all.
  14. He is the best coach ever in the NBA IMO. He has 11 titles and has coached the two best players ever in the NBA. I think he should quit just due to the fact that he has nothing more to prove. And by the looks of things, his team won't be too good next year either. On a side note, I have lost the little respect I had for Bynum and Odom after what they did last night to Nowitzki and Barea.
  15. I would change the hook if it got bent straight out, so I'd have to retie.
  16. Man your humble. If I caught that thing, no one would hear the end of it.
  17. Ok, thanks.
  18. The Chrome icon on my task bar glows red when I move the mouse over it. Is this normal or is something wrong? Just wondering if this happens to you guys too.
  19. I doubt they used silenced mp5s, but who knows. I would bet they used something along the lines of an AR-15.
  20. Ha, good one.

Just search bloody brain shot on Google.
  22. How do you know he is a millionaire? Not saying you're wrong, just wondering.
  23. Yes sir. Best spinning reel for the money.
