That's a slick lookin truck. I bet that thing will be a beast once you get all the mods on. Why did you opt to go with the Duramax instead of a Cummins or Powerstroker? Was it just based on looks or what?

Does anyone else think that we over analyze or over estimate the ability of a bass's mind? Do you really think that a bass could be line shy? With everything else in the water, how could they distinguish between line and vegetation? Why aren't they hook shy? My hook shows on every plastic that I fish, yet they don't seem to mind. The hook is thicker than the line and should stand out more in the water, but some people still blame a bad day on spooked fish. Could they really become accustomed to certain lures? This one may have a bit more truth to it than them being line shy, but I still don't believe it. I know people say that, "Oh, the bass in my lake won't hit Rage Craws anymore." (Or something similar to that). Really? You think the bass remember the exact look and shape of you're bait for long enough to know not to eat it again? A lot of baits are meant to look as real as possible and a lot achieve that. Say I was throwing a Mattlures U2 Bluegill (just for example), and I'm catching a ton of bass with it, would they be afraid to hit a real gill? I'm just saying this because the U2 and a real gill look far too similar for a bass to know the difference. Another one that I don't agree with is when people say, "Don't wear bright colors when bank fishing," or "Walk quietly when moving to a different spot." My friends and I have fished in a lot of bright colors with no negative effects and I've seen a lot of people on here fishing in bright colors. People say to walk quietly too. Maybe my friends and I are extremely quiet walkers normally, but we don't change a thing when walking along the bank. Do bass really have that many land predators to be scared? I'm asking this because I truly don't know, but I would assume the answer is no. In a lot of the ponds I fish, bass are at the top of the food chain, so they have nothing to be scared of. Now, none of this is fact, it's just my belief that we over think situations too much and come up with excuses as to why we got skunked.

Been going to this pond a lot lately and catching some real nice ones. The fish usually average about 3lbs, but me and a buddy have caught some 5+. It seems like the fish aren't too healthy. Real long, but super skinny. A lot of the 3s could easily be 5s if they were eating better. Most of the ponds I fish are the same way, too overpopulated, but the fishing is great. Been catching all of my fish out of this pond with Rage Craws and Yum Craw Papis. This one was the biggest of the slow day I had yesterday. Only went about 2.5, but it was pretty long. The picture is kind of deceiving I guess. It was longer than it looks. I'll have to start bringing my phone more often so I can get pictures of the big girls.

Kind of hard for a sunnie to get the hook in their mouths, but I've had it happen before. If you just want to catch some fish, use nightcrawlers on one rod and artificials on another.

I've set the hook into some timber before. I start reeling and my drag starts screaming. Really sucks when you think you have a big fish, but it turns out you have a big log. I don't think I've ever been in a situation where I feel a tap and it turns out to be a snag.

I fish ponds extremely similar to these and have absolutely been slaying them recently. Some baits I would throw: Rage Craw in Bama Craw or Black Blue Flake Yum Craw Papi in Black Blue Flake Senkos in Junebug, Watermelon, and Pumpkinseed White or White/Chart Spinnerbaits Black Buzzbait (only in the early morning or around dusk)

Her life is basically ruined anyway. She will probably be alone the rest of her life, jobless, and filled with guilt. Not saying this makes up for her not going to jail, but it's better than nothing.

That Dodge is on its last leg for sure especially if it's an automatic. Dodge automatic transmissions are garbage, but their manuals aren't half bad. I can't believe that those are the only two trucks you can find, but if it were out of those two I would go with the Chevy. I like Dodges, but I've never seen one go much past 200k unless the owner takes care of it, which most don't. I think that speedo problem with the Chevy is actually pretty common. Do you know if the odometer is on the speedo? If the odometer is broken too (I'm assuming it isn't) I would stay away from the truck. No telling how many miles are on it. If the only thing wrong with the Chevy is the speedo, I would get it, but first I would try to look for some other options. Chevys are good trucks, but Dodges and Fords are better IMO. (This will probably start an argument.)

Why can't you get it? Copyright reasons? I highly doubt Gary Loomis will sue you for having his logo on your arm. It does look like a cool tattoo to get, so I say go for it. If I ever get a tattoo, it would be of a largemouth. Just gotta find the right one.

Looks like it would be best suited for popping. I have trouble walking the dog with short baits like that, but that's just me.

Just flip flops usually. I have heard that they can be bad if you wear them too much, but no problems so far.

I just started fishing these and they are great. I catch a lot of fish with them, but they tear up way too easy. Me and a friend were fishing and losing claws on almost every cast from bluegill nipping at the ends. They are the Big Bite Baits Fighting Frog. If anyone knows something similar, but a little more durable, it would be appreciated.
