The reason I asked if you have used them is because they do work. It's similar to Lucky Craft. They run true out of the box and are built well, so that's why they are expensive. I know you can get them for $18 from some places, but I forget where.

You can find them for cheaper than that. Have you fished them?

It is pretty bad, but the Bucs shouldn't be mad. I don't think they deserved to get into the playoffs either. They only beat one team over .500 and that was the Saints today. They aren't a great team.

You are really limited when fishing from the bank. Some of the places I fish are so wooded that you can't even get to a lot of the banks. I feel like it's easier to fish from the bank when fishing small ponds so I would try that if you haven't already. I fish from the bank primarily, but I still love fishing. Boat fishing would be amazing, but you gotta work with what you have.

You can buy an Xbox and a blu ray player for only a little more than the ps3. If you don't play online I would get a ps3.

Neither are ideal, but I guess it depends on how deep the cranks are.

The legs don't come off after one strike. I like mine, but I haven't fished a Spro frog. Scum Frogs are good for the price, as mentioned above.

Spro makes some good ones. I just bought the Tru tungsten tru-life and the BPS z9r. I made a thread about the Giron a couple months ago and I got mixed reviews on it. A lot of them were negative, so I opted away from it.

Probably a nice, solid hookset. It feels great when you know you got one on the end of your line.

They had these at my local store too. My buddy got a gift card to Dick's for Christmas so he loaded up on these jigs and some different spinnerbaits. You can usually find some pretty good stuff there.

I have Jackpot Bassin. It teaches some techniques and has some good info in it, but it's the only one I have read so I can't really compare it to others.

I thought it was decent. It's nice to watch fishing when you can't actually fish. I also thought it was cool that they had Gary Dobyns on the show.

Anyone feel the earthquake in Indiana or Ohio? It originated in Indiana, but apparently was felt in Cincinnati. I didn't feel a thing.

Is a jig a hard bait or soft? I throw jigs about 30% of the time, which is weird because I have better luck with other lures. ;D I probably throw buzzbaits and spinnerbaits about 40% of the time and plastics the other 30%.

Probably trying not to get frustrated as easily. I realize that it's called fishing and not catching, but it ticks me off when I can't get a bite. There were times where I would be fishing and not get a bit after an hour or so and then just leave. There were also times where other people were getting bites and I couldn't to save my life and I would get extremely po'd. I'm hoping to learn a little more patience in 2011.
