  1. That bass in the fifth picture is HUGE. Post the vids.
  2. That's so cool. KVD is arguably the best pro bass fisherman ever and to meet him would be amazing. You gonna fish with the red eye he signed? ;D ;D ;D
  3. There is your answer. Use baits that imitate shad. I prefer spinnerbaits and soft swimbaits (I'm too cheap to buy the hard ones) ;D. I would also try pitching jigs near the timber and maybe even a senko or two.

I use the BPS digital scale. It works fine for me. My only complaint is that it always turns on in my tackle box because it gets pushed up against the sides. Easily fixed with a tackle bag though.

Man, I bet that hurt. How is the band doing now?
  6. I just wanted to see what your favorite concerts have been. Bob Dylan and Tom Petty are some of the few I have been to and they were amazing.
  7. That looks insanely real. "No cats were harmed in the making of this film."
  8. WHAT? HE'S OK MAN , IT'S THE REST OF US THAT ARE OFF-KILTER. Oh ok. I was worried there for a second. ;D
  9. That's a big ol fish.
  10. I would go with the Power Pro. Best bang for your buck.
  11. Why not just go for a Pro Qualifier? It's a great reel and it will save you some money to buy some more tackle.
  12. Catch a fish over five pounds.
  13. I should have clarified, I was speaking strictly with the Pats in all my responses. Sorry for the confusion. There are so many times that he just jogs off of the line if the play isn't designed to go his way. He is a deep threat and a great football player, but he sure as hell does not try as hard as others.
  14. I went fishing at Landen Lake today. It's a small lake that only residents of Landen can fish. I was fishing from shore in a small little cove and I see a guy with his little kid (probably 3-4 years old). Everything seemed normal until I saw that they had BB guns in their hands. The kid was screaming, "I want to shoot some fish." I was thinking that they couldn't possibly have come here to shoot little bluegill, but they did. They started to unload rounds on the gills that were only a couple feet from shore. Not sure if they hit any, but it was still a little strange that a dad would let his little kid shoot some fish. What would you guys have done in this situation?

    That's some funny stuff. ;D ;D
  18. It was an impressive performance, but I'm a Reds fan, so I can't be too impressed.
  19. It's a comfort, power, and control thing for me.
  20. Braid isn't rough on baitcasters at all. Don't know where you would have heard that. I would put some 30 pound braid on your Carbonlite.
  21. I cast with my right hand and retrieve with my right hand with both spinning and casting reels. Switching hands after casting doesn't really bother me much.
