  1. You've got me interested now. This is a cool idea. It seems like more of the hook would be exposed if used frog hooks. Not only that, but I was also just thinking that MAYBE you could use one of the screw on versions and straddle the bait with the two hooks riding on the sides. IN THEORY. It would be cool to check out if I owned any of those style hooks. I might just have to try that. The hook up ratio would skyrocket.

  3. Thank you for posting this. I went up to a fairly large creek with a buddy of mine and we didn't know if it held bass or not. I started to throw a jig and after about 20 minutes I was about to give up. I then remembered this post and I decided to throw it out and just reel in real fast. I didn't get skunked today because of this post. The fish had no size, but it was a pleasant surprise. Just one more way Bassresource has helped me fishing.
  4. I'm likin the fourth one. Never really seen a crank like that before.
  5. 6-8 am: Black buzzbait. IMO it's a big fish bait no matter where you are. 8-10 am: White spinnerbait or one that matches bait fish in the lake. Rest of the day: Weightless T-rigged senko or a jig paired with chigger craw.
  6. Probably my favorite episode next to the Soup Nazi and the one where George is accused of being insane because he thinks Lloyd Braun is out to get him.
  7. X2. It's stealing when you take advantage of a company like that. Dishonest people are my biggest pet peeve.
  8. This except change the 60 years to 2 years. I hope I have that much experience one day.
  9. I hope he is wearing a parachute.
  10. I don't know how wacky rigging a crankbait is even possible. I think the only thing you can wacky rig is a soft plastic bait (I think).
  11. http://www.bassresource.com/beginner/worm_fishing.html This should help quite a bit.
  12. This is also an amazing album.
  13. Looks like a great bait. Not sure why you think they are ugly.
  14. Is there any point to lifting a truck if you aren't using it for off-road? Everyone and their brother has one around where I live.
  15. Jamey Johnson - The Dollar Even though it's fairly new.
  16. Always a topwater frog for surface vegetation. Pumpkin senko for the edges of the weeds.
  17. This. It won't dig in as much. I would recommend Power Pro or Fireline. I can't recommend a leader because I don't use them.
  18. I am pretty sure they discontinued the 8". You might be able to find them from a private seller, but that's about it.
  19. How would you even go about taking that picture?
  20. This. A Kalins grub during spawn will catch everything.
  21. I think it would be a good idea to start prefishing now. The fish won't necessarily be doing the same thing as they are now, but you could look for spots that may hold fish. You should look for spots and record them, so you could go back to them during the tournament or a couple of days before to see if they produce.
  22. The bottom part of the jaw on that fish looks deformed. Nice fish and nice story though.
