  1. You have an insane memory
  2. Same exact thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I thought I had the bass of a lifetime, but it was a channel cat. I caught mine on a worm though
  3. I usually say "Oh yeah" or "Yeah buddy"
  4. I do it all the time. I say I am gonna throw soft plastics and topwater, but when I get there, I change everything up. The worst part is when you throw your go to baits and they don't produce. My new go to bait is a buzz bait, so when I'm not catching anything I start fishing them and they usually catch fish if I am patient enough. I think the most important part is to stay calm and don't get angry if you aren't catching the fish you planned on when you were thinking about it the day before.
  5. I get pretty mad, but not as mad as Ike.

    Disgusting. Dip is better
  7. That's a great bass for any state, but for Ohio it's amazing.
  8. Stick to the palomar. I think its the best
  9. My reel does it on occasion. It doesn't affect performance so I don't really pay attention to it.
  10. He definatley does not top jordan.
  11. They were bass.
  12. I actually have caught frogs before, but not one frog lures. I'm really stumped on this one.
  13. Me and my buddy found a small farm pond that seems like it would be a great location for bass. The house and all the barns on the property were burned down, so no one lives there anymore. No one manages the pond so about half of it is covered with vegetation. We started fishin there and I have been throwing a frog out every cast. I have had four strikes on the frog, but they all miss it. I have seen turtles in the pond, but no bass. I was just wondering if these strikes are fish or if they are snappers because they happen so fast that I can't tell. I would think that a turtle can't move fast enough to jump out of the water at a frog, but I really have no idea. If someone could tell me what they think these strikes are I would greatly appreciate it.
  14. It will take a lot more than 7 seconds to cut and tie on a new lure. Cutting braid takes longer than that for me as it is.
  15. Thats pretty cool how that fish could have survived that long with no fins. I have caught the same catfish multiple times in one day and my buddy caught a bass that had just broke his line and he got his hook back.
  16. Tried it a couple times without any luck. Fishing is not very fun if you have to move your rod back and forth for twenty minutes.
  17. Bill Dance without a question. He is funny and knowledgeable.
  18. I bought the Quantum PT and the BPS Pro Qualifier. Can't wait till they get here.
  19. I agree. These rods are great and very sensitive. Great prices too
  20. My go to lure is a six inch pumpkin seed worm. The fish seem to love them here
  21. Thanks man. You just saved me about 50 bucks.
  22. I am thinking of getting this combo for fishing soft plasctics primarily. http://www.***.com/descpage-BLSC.html http://www.***.com/descpage-QCPTC.html I haven't had a baitcaster in a long time, so I don't know much about them. Opinions and suggestions on this set up would be greatly appreciated.
  23. Nicest one I have seen in awhile
  24. A couple of mine have been doing this, but the fish don't seem to mind much.
  25. Man I have five "speedtraps" on roads I drive everyday
