I just lift them out of the water into my hand unless they are over about two pounds and then I will just lip them in the water.

I use mine a lot. It's a good frog, but the legs are a little long. The body is pretty tough and the hooks are really sharp. I have never used Spro because I don't feel like spending nine dollars on a frog when you can get one for half the price. Basically, the Kermy flat out catches fish and will hold up just as well as any frog.

Honestly I don't think you need a leader when you are using braid in any situation. Maybe the fish can see it, maybe they can't but I don't think it matters either way. The fish do not know what fishing line is and therefore I don't think they would shy away from any meal because there is a green line above it. I used to use a leader, but do not anymore because I haven't seen a difference between it and using only braid. I still catch fish at the same rate as I did with a leader.

I'm not a big fan of the st. croix mojo. I like to have MH power and an extra fast tip for my plastics rod.

I don't put my new lures in my fish tank, but I do cast into my pool with almost every new lure I buy to make sure it's just right. Can't wait for BPS's Labor Day sale. ;D

I know that sometimes bass will hit their pray in order to stun it, but they won't eat it just then. When they do this they don't hit it with their mouth, they hit with their head. This could have been what was happening because it seems odd that you caught six fish outside the mouth.
