Same thing Always happens to me! Ill be working on my presentation etc and the bite will be slow but the minute I pull my phone out or stare into space I get something lol. Never fails.

I too tried tubes a few days last weekend and caught 0 fish. Switched to the senko and caught 3 or 4. This thread has definitely been helpful though. Guess I'll try again next weekend.

Awww! Definitely something you don't expect. In a way it was a reality check because me and my brother always wear shorts and are so nonchalant in walking/standing/sitting in the tall grass, up against bushes etc around the lake. That was the first snake I've ever seen there.

Junebug is my favorite senko color and the one I've had the most luck with and I always throw T-rigged.

I'm home from school so I went to the lake today. Didn't have a whole lot of luck caught a couple alright bass but nothing special. So I decided I would make one more cast then head home. I threw out and when I was pulling it back in what happened was totally unexpected! A Snake shot up out of the water and latched on! Who else you know that could catch a snake on a 5in senko! lol. Im not a snake guy so needless to say I cut the line. And when he shot up on the bank I was out! Video:

About 6 months + a few trips when I was little. Just getting into it and i LOVE it!

If you research it the downfall of the economy has caused a surge in people fishing and participating in other outdoor activities.

I've never used a net. I usually just lift them by the line and lip them.
