Thanks for the fast reply. I was reading a little bit more about others having this same problem. The consensus seems to be like you said, add vents. Some people say they even put a small fan under the cover to circulate air better. I was also reading about a product called RAMMO, which is supposedly supposed to prevent mold and mildew for 6 months after application. Wondering if anyone knows of a sealant that can be used on vinyl to stop mildew? My father owns a 2008 Suntracker pontoon boat, and every time we want to take it out, we have to deal with mildew all over the vinyl. The boat is always covered up, so its either you get mildew with the cover on, or you risk fading with the cover off. The only sure way we've discovered to removing the mildew effectively is by using bleach, which is a pain to do every time we take the boat out. Anyone know of a product that prevents this? Thanks.

I like wacky rigging them on a mustad demon circle hook, I haven't missed a fish yet on one of those.

Who was it that posted about seeing some bass's lips split? Jaw was slit in half I think because of poor handling. Yeah, anyways all the answers are correct, give it some support on the rear end when holding it horizontal. When you release it, hold it the same way and hang on to the tail until the bass swims away.

What's a good hook sharpener for some dull hooks? The old file works, but is there any type of tool available specifically for this?

I use a green frabill net. Bought it at a garage sale for $2, and some dude gave me a free wooden handle from a garden hoe, so I threaded it on the handle of the frabill to make it longer. It's saved me a bunch of times in these coon-tail infested canals. Like for instance, it allowed me to land that one in my avatar . Cheap=good, functional=win.

Could be interesting to use already existing. I'm sure over the years parts for reels have been heavily refined. Obviously it didn't just all come together at once, so there was trial and error along the way. I wonder where the very first reel originated from?

Obviously it wouldn't be the best fit financially to build a reel from scratch, but it would be totally custom and more specifically fit exactly to what you like. I was just curious if anyone has tried doing it, I think it's a little too big of a task for me to handle by myself.

Hmm... I wouldn't accept one "deformed". For a small premium, all RageTail Baits are 100% perfect due to very special packaging. I expect nothing less from Big O. qft....i just received a few packs of my rage chunks from TW today 8-)
