  1. Yes they are.
  2. Not likely, and you can't do it here for sure.
  3. Walmart cleared them out for $2.57 a pack a while back. Not sure how many packs I have, but it's a lot. I'd already fished them and knew they were good, wasn't passing on them for that price.
  4. I was using 15lb Pline Cxx
  5. It has crazy action, wobbles back and forth 6-8 inches. haven't used it a ton but it was impressive. Doesn't dive nearly as deep as it looks like it would either.
  6. It would work, wouldn't be my first choice though.
  7. They work great for me. This is how I buy them, 100pk at a time for $14.55 a pack for a 4/0. I put them on my swingheads also. https://www.captainhookswarehouse.com/products/el098bp
  8. NW you've got lakes like Mozingo, Bilby Ranch, Happy Holler, Pony Express, Cameron Reservoirs, Paho, Bethany, Smithville, Poosey, lots of little lakes scattered around with good fishing.
  9. Yeah this isn't even close, Fuego by a lot.
  10. I really like the Falcon Bucoo I've been using, it's a 7' 4" H/F. IDK the weight, but it balances well, launches a frog, has a shorter handle to make walking a frog easy, and has plenty of backbone to hammer the hooks home and drag them out.
  11. I'd use the same Eagle Claw I use in the #2 (use to be the Lil' Nasty but I think they just call it a 500BP now). Glad Do-It heard the cries and came out with production molds in the different sizes. So much nicer to make them 6 at a time now instead of 1. Bad thing is now I need to buy the 1/8oz one also for my small swimbaits and grubs.
  12. Yup, big and fast is the name of the game.
  13. Spinning rod and 8lb test, even 6lb if you're comfortable with it. I have one with the paint almost completely beat off of it from fishing creeks and catching so many fish on it.
  14. Walking a creek a few weeks ago I had a doe jump out of the brush next to the creek, in one bound she was at my feet and I thought going to run right into me. Thankfully she cut up the creek and back into the brush. I said a lot of words I can't repeat here. If she'd have just stayed still, I'd have never known she was there.
  15. Been catching them on topwater since early April here. Our water temps are in the high 70's/low 80's now.
  16. I have that rod, I use it for spinnerbaits. It's got a good amount of backbone. I fish a lot of bigger spinnerbaits (1/2oz is about as small as I go, up to 1.5oz), and it handles those fine and drives the hooks home with authority.
  17. Pick one, I've got all of them. Personal favorites are Neo Pearl, Violet Gill, and Matte Chartreuse. A couple others that I don't think they make anymore so won't bother listing them.
  18. These are the blanks I picked up. One of these days I'll remember to actually fish them ?
  19. I fish a Duo Rozante 77 all year long, it's a very slow riser. During the cold water periods, a very slow sinker is better for me than a true suspending bait.
  20. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Eagle_Claw_Magworm_Wide_Gap_Worm_Hook_5pk/descpage-ECMW.html
  21. Mine are mostly in the 150-200 size. The smaller sized reels are too small for me to comfortably hold for a long time with the 100 size being the smallest size I can really fish all day. My hands start to hurt after a while of trying to grip a 70 or 50 sized reel though.
