It's gotten quiet up in here!!

Well my report for this past weekend, was poor for me. I caught 4 fish. One 5.5 on a one crawfish colored one knocker. 2 short fish on a Carolina rigged fluke. A 2.5 lb chunk on a chatter bait. I fished around north Toledo state park & main lake 1215 area. Now I'm back to the honey do's. I spent half a day doing maintenance & changing plugs on the 225 opti. Fouled plugs were my problem, thankfully & not something more costly.

I'll be in a bass cat cougar. White, yellow bolt, purple trim. Yellow/purple flames on the cowling. Stop & say hi.

I'll be headed up tonight.

I wish I could help out Shaneus, but my last trip up, 3 weeks ago, was horrible for me. I didn't catch a fish.

Today I set the hook on what I thought would be a free replica fish. New rod is loaded up. I move to the back deck to lip her easier only to see the ugliest 15 lb catfish with my jig in its mouth!! Oh well, the adrenaline was kicking hard for a bit! I caught 2 yesterday. A 13" Kentucky and one that was close to 8 lbs. connection here sucks so I can't post the pic. Fog was horrible today.

I work offshore, 14/14. I go back to work 1/15.

The mettle reel was $29.99 hot deal for a while. Not sure if it's still available. Got 2 for Christmas plus a Lews tournament lazer. It helps to have a better half that's a manager there. Lots of times end of isles ( end caps) have clearance items. H2O hard baits have worked well for me, including the Sammy clones.

An extra set of clothes is always a good idea this time of year. I'm planning on heading up Wednesday night. If y'all see a bass cat with purple/gold (closer to yellow) flames on the cowling, stop & say hi!

I've had a little luck with a red/black vertical lines yozuri. I heard rattle trap cherry bomb was the hot color last year.

I just ordered a Denali Kovert flipping rod. I've heard good things about them and will be trying it out in a few weeks. I'll let y'all know how I like it.

I have a boat. At the moment on a lift but trailer is under the garage and definitely available.

Catt, when you say mouth of a creek, is that where that creek connects with another creek or river channel?

Hi guys. I've finally returned from the lurker status. When the change over took place months back my login stuff got messed up so I just lurked. I mainly fish north of Pendleton in San Miguel, Patroon, and Clear Creek areas. I work 14/14 so I head up during my days off nearly every time off. Catt, The Acme Mapper has 5 (N 00.00000) numbers after the decimal in the lat/lon. On my handheld and boat mounted gps, the numbers are N 00 00 000/W 000 00 000. Do you know the name of or how to change my hand held to correspond to the Acme Mapper? Thanks, Ronnie
