  1. If I were you, I would just get the GLX since it will be worth it. I tend to buy budget rods until I got too many of those. Then I started a "sell off" to get few rods - NRX Models. It worked out well for me.
  2. Exactly - I fish alot which I have one bag dedicated for tournament only. The other bag is for the Lake that I tend to fish. I always offer money and gas to my partner since I know how expensive it is. My brother has a boat that he kept spending money on it to keep it running. We go out at the pacific ocean to slay some yellow tails during the summers when I come "home". He kept saying this - B.O.A.T = Bring Out Another Thousand.
  3. Thanks guys for your inputs on that. I think I got a better idea since I did try to use it with one straight hook and it was always "MISSED" hookset. No wonder it went in the back of my storage Going to try for poppers and crankbait to see how it handles.
  4. Just "re-found" another rod in the storage. I'm gotta pair it up with the Curado 70. What fishing presentations would be suitable for this ? Specs. Castaway go2 Med Light Rod Rod Length: 6'6" Number of Pieces: 1 Power: Medium Light Action: Moderate Line Weight (lb.): 8-14 Lure Weight (oz.): 1/4-1/2 Handle Material: Cork Rod Material: 24 Ton, IM8 Carbon Fiber
  5. First of all, Welcome to the "Monkey Bait" Club ... Wait until you spend more money for some of those sick rods/reels or lures. You have been warned ?
  6. If you cant handle a 7.8oz weight, It's time for you to put down the reel and hit the gym.
  7. Just go with the Shimano Curado 70 and be done with it
  8. I just recently bought several of their items for the first time after hearing about it on this forum. Honestly, I have been impressed with it.
  9. NRX 873 CRR 7'3 - I have been slaying bass with texas rig on that. It just a hoot to fish with
  10. I use nothing but those two (owners and trokar)
  11. Please, I might need to take a vacation to avoid the TWH sales . My wife will kill me but....she just bought two pairs of shoes recently.
  12. @A-Jay Love the bass fever moment (shaking hands) when you brought her on the boat
  13. I have seen people buy that item (Team Dawia Zillion 100SHA (7.1.1)) New for $200 to 250.
  14. Just get some costa's I get them for like $120 for 580G I rather to wear good ones cuz i only have a pair of eyes
  15. Am looking at ebay - What would be the ideal size I should get ?
  16. You rock --- I need those since I hate it when my crank baits are tangled up.
  17. Of course its confusing I knew I was on the right track by placing the URL from TackleTrap.
  18. Nice catch you got there ...
  19. Thought I saw that someone has tried this ? but I cant find the post or thread on it. I have the original SV103 spool that seems to have too much brake. I bought a steez spool which helped with the casting distance. Could someone point me the right direction to replace some part/s on it for cheaper price ? EDIT: is this it ? Daiwa Zillion SV TW Spool Inductor: https://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=898_660_1136&products_id=13422&zenid=fffdc8d094953d89d5dd340ad772f8b5

  21. Looks like Whooper Clobber Style !
  22. Do tell about the inductor spring swap. If you don't mind telling where I can get one of those to test it out.
