Does anyone use the spoons for bass I picked one up last night for a tournament Sunday thinking jigging it on some deep points may work well. I got the 3/4oz weedless one in bluegill. The reason I'm thinking it may work is the fishing hotline is reporting great catches of gills and bass in deeper water. So I'm thinking jigging that spoon may get me some quality bass

Iv only used the spear and I love it go on ikes web site he's got videos with tons of ways to rig it. Just this morning I rigged it with the first three "ribs" cut off onto a I'll be trying it tomorrow in a tournament I know it will work just got a feeling

Rec boats can both create and destroy a bite at the same time. Me and JF were discusing this he pointed something out that day and iv been running with it sense and its working. While boats bang the banks with waves it kills the topwater bite but it stirs up crawfish and other little bugs and what not baitfish eat drawing bait fish to the shoreline to feed with the bass not far behind. If its calm I work the top soon as that jet ski whips by I grab a 1/8oz keel weighted hook and fluke and start working it by the bank ill nab a few then switch back when it calms down again.

Well it just reminded me of desprite times so that's what I named it

Wow its not that I'm poor I got plenty in the bank to get by all my bills are paid on time my kids college fund has been started when they were born plus they can use my gi bill I'm not gonna use it. I simply just took back some bottles and change to clean up the house a little and have a little extra for lures sense the money dedicated to fishing dried up sense I haven't had drill not that it mattered because I just used my "spending" money we set aside each paycheck. And my wife spends her money on longaberger baskets and pottery that stuff will blow fishing expensese out of the water anyday 500 bucks for a few plates and bowls to match 300 for a little fruit basket. This post was just a little what ever to see what people do to get a little extra lure money I'm not putting fishing ahead of my family or needs by anymeans bills and the savings account allways comes first that's why I have all budget rods and reels like 50 bucks for the whole set up the only exeption is my revo and veritas I got for christmas.

How would you trim a weed guard I read awhile ago about doing it by just cutting it at an angle right at to hook but it seemed to make it so stiff and useless. Is it even worth it. How many of u trim the guards down or even the skirts for that matter

Might sound stupid but try cleaning that .308 with some sweets 7.62 clean that barrel really really good it being old might be fouled up it might look clean but you'd be surprised what sweets or some other paste style solvents will get out and your accuracy will come back.

We've been so close to a divorce its not even funny but that's a whole other can of worms. Plus its not that I'm hurting for money because she ended up letting me use the card for my stuff after hitting olive garden letting me keep my cash for lunch when out on moves at work. My wife just likes giving me a hard time and seeing what ill do to buy lures or go fishing. Like when I walk out with her lotion to rub her feet I usually don't ask she just knows I'm rubbing her feet cuz I want something.

Ill try during practice I only boated 7lbs maybe they were all in the 1.5 range b7t I didn't fish deep with cranks billed or lipless so hopefuly the ledges and humps hold the big fish

Yes coinstar was 9 centes for every dollar I made a $24 even in change plus 5 bucks I had I got 38 bucks for a few jigs not to shaby for recycling and fliping coushins and cleaning my car

Like in lake alice where we went I'm thinking lipless and heavy jigs for that tournament Sunday the whole thing is sketchy the guy running it is also fishing it and the launch time is 5am but he said launch anytime only fish caught between 5 and 1 count. All the more reason for me to win this even though I think its rigged

The water temps were low 80s on saterday but its been raining the last 3 days so it shoulda cooled off some. Chromes my favorite rat l trap color for bright clear days but I tend to catch way way more pike then anything else.

I do this as it is a lot of times sometimes I get lucky and find bags with plastics still in them or lures I found a headlamp one time to. One of the local spots near me I just found last week at work they have 5 gallon buckets bolted to the trees with a hole cut in the lid for u to put stripped line into. I hate snaging other peoples birds nests or walking down a trail getting line caught up in my gear or feet draging twigs and what not behind u

Its all just to line there pockets like ya said with the stockmarket the rich just get richer kinda like the lawyer here at work says the school can't afford to give the teachers a 2% raise after three years and he gave himself a 12$ raise he went from 98k a year to 110k somethings fishey there. Thanks we plan on being done for atleast 5years that way noahs 7 and this one will be 5 but I have a feeling with me leaving for afghanistan I will end up knocking her up either just befor I leave or soon as I get back because that's my luck something will happen. Yeah we got money for food and stuff just my wifes anal bout fishing she's sees her dad and nephew do it with cheapo walmart set ups and 1 little box and doesn't see why I need 10 boxs and 10rods that's why the fishing "budget" is my drill pay because that's extra every month that doesn't get countedtowards bills and food and what not. But like I said I haven't had drill in months and need a few jigs for Sunday. My wifes pretty good at monitoring the accounts and paying the bazillion bills it seems like we have and putting money aside for the baby coming Monday at 7am way of c section another fishing and hunting buddy if he's anything like his dad and older brother.

I was surprised I made 940 off it and they were all water bottles. My wife did just txt me wanting to go out to dinner so I could go to dicks and gandermountain one last time befor she has the baby Monday.
