Its not so much that moneys tight its more my wife says iv spent enough this year on bait and she's got the account on lockdown lol. Usually I use my drill pay from the national guard for fishing funds but I haven't had drill in 3 months not gonna go agaibn till september.

But same hole at 300 that's impressive if u really do that my .243 will do 1 inch at 300 in near perfict conditions butt I'm shooting a 58gr vmax at 4000fps it doesn't like the wind much but its deadly on them ground hogs malong a buffet out of the soybean field

What have u done for money when in a pinch for lures. Last night I took back 9.40 in water bottles and I got a baggie full of change to take to coinstar today so I can stock up on jigs for Sunday.

Id try matching a round to the gun some guns just don't digest ammo the same iv had guns that will drive tacks with every manufacturer and others that will shoot hornadys into the same hole but winchesters it opens up the group to 2moa at 100yds

what about the crazy stalker bi polar wife there is no hiding she always finds a way to get in some how. Iv been at training for the gaurd and had a guy from a whole diffrent company based 3 hrs from where I'm outa come up to me with a message from my wife. She had her friends post on face book or something if they knew anyone there and some random guy friends of a friend of a friend seen it and then found me it was crazy.

I have a 1 1/2oz jig with a stanly ribbit as a trailer but its a white jig idk how stained the water will be but I'm picking up more jigs tomorrow. JF this is the spot we fished I haven't caught a pike outa there the last 2 trips but that was funny u thought u had a good one on that drop shot set the hook little head shake snap goes the line

Thanks this lake I'm gonna be fishing is weedy and rocky I'm also thinking throwing it upon a ledge and draging it off letting it flutter down on semi slack line

I need help fishing a jig on ledges and holes. I'm pretty good working jigs on points and cover but what about ledges with drop offs or holes where u need the jig to drop vertical instead of swinging under the boat or threw the colum to the other wall of the hole. Do u just depress the thumbbar again to let it fall or stip out by hand. Some of these holes are only 20ft at best but they go from 10ft of water drop to 25 then come back up to 10ft and we marked fish all over these holes.

How well do lipless cranks work in the summer. I usual reserve them for colder weather but the lake I'm fish has some deep humps and I don't have cranks that dive more then 8ft and some these humps are 15-30ft down. So I'm thinking whip the lipless out let it sink till it hits bottom and yo yo it up over the humps and points. And I say yo yo because its kind of the only retrieve I do its always worked well in the past.

All of them.............. But if I have to pick one well two its the rage craw in bama craw on a jig or trigged 5/0 1/2oz pegged and its tied with rage shad 5/0 weightless

30-30 is a great brush gun just not the best long range gun like hunting open ranges and fields its great for woods where most shots are within 100yds unless u line up a good lane. Rifles arnt legal where I hunt localy unless u have a tc or pistol chambered in a high power. The dec is slowly moving rifle zones closer there only a county away this season rumor has it my area will be rifle by the 2012 season. I might use the mosin when that happens 7.62 x 54r what a beast

Bama craw is my favorite I fish mostly clear water

I almost think he's got the 308 mixed with a 30-30 which is a 200yd at best rifle
