  1. It most certainly goes on in Professional Bass Fishing. If I remember correctly it was Koby Krieger and someone else that had an article on this site or another one that talked about splitting winnings. The sharing of info amongst certain groups happens at every level. JT Bagwell
  2. Congrats. My son is only 4 months old so he has a little while to go before he becomes mobile. JT Bagwell
  3. I think the prices of a lot of things are getting carried away. When I was a kid I could get a good spinnerbait for a couple of bucks. Now you can't hardly find a good one for under $7-$10. I bought 6 crankbaits the other day that were 33% off and they still cost me over $60. $50,000 will quickly be the norm for bassboats. It is just getting crazy. JT Bagwell
  4. What if 1/2 of that was from his Terminator deal? lol Still more than I made last year. JT Bagwell
  5. That really sucks for Skeet. I think he did a nice job with the Terminator brand, but this is business. I really doubt that it was anything person, but I would not be the least bit shocked if it was a result of his strong ties to Lucky Craft. JT Bagwell
  6. PowerPro is the best....Period. JT Bagwell
  7. I never unplug my trailer lights. If I did, I would not be able to back up. The reverse lock out solenoid is powered when your truck is in reverse and your back up lights come on. JT Bagwell
  8. Search this site. There are numerous articles and posts about this topic. JT Bagwell
  9. Nick, you got the 5 G's you owe me? Just kidding, nice work buddy. JT Bagwell
  10. This is precisely what prompted my other posts about why younger kids are seeking sponsors. There is nothing here to indicate that you really deserve a sponsorship over the other thousands of proven anglers. JT Bagwell
  11. If you do catch one, be careful of their gill plates. They are very sharp and can also slice your hand open. Usually what I do it my finger tips into the lower portion of the gill covers near the bottom jaw. That way I am not going to injure the gills and my fingers are in no real danger of being cut or getting bit. If you get a big muskie (or pike for that matter) don't keep them out of water very long. It takes a lot out of them during the fight and if you fool with them too much it can be very tough to revive them. JT Bagwell
  12. I have not tried to fish it weightless like a Senko, but it may be possible. The Shad Shape worm is pretty lightweight since it is only 3.5" long. You may be better off fishing it on a drop-shot rig or on a small jighead. JT Bagwell
  13. Senko77, You got it man!!! JT Bagwell
  14. Very interesting topic. Where were the actual percentages derived? I very much agree with you on the color factor (or lack thereof). I take my family fishing at a private club a lot and my brother inlaw and father inlaw always want the same color Senko I am using. I had to prove it to them that color wasn't really an issue. I would throw pink, purple, blue, black, etc and the fish would eat all of them. JT Bagwell
  15. I fish the Ika weightless like a Senko most of the time. You can also fish it Texas rigged effectively too. It also works on a Carolina Rig or a Drop Shot rig. Overall, it is a very versatile bait. JT Bagwell
  16. LOL I can't let you have any yet, I haven't got my patent approved. LOL What the heck have you been up too? It's been a while man. JT Bagwell
  17. He just said Power Pro was braid. lol JT Bagwell
  18. Boaters will fish from the front deck of the boat only. Co-anglers will fish from the back deck of the boat only. Boaters will have complete control of boat operation and waters to be fished. Any boater who, in the judgment of the tournament director, operates the boat in a manner that unfairly handicaps their co-angler partner will be disqualified for that day. In multiday tournaments, co-anglers who share their boater partner's fishing locations with other competitors will be disqualified along with the person utilizing this information. That is straight from the FLW Outdoors rules for the BFL. JT Bagwell
  19. Here is the one I would go with and it is only $109 for the combo. Plus you get a free shirt. http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=59170&hvarDept=100&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=3&hvarSubCode=2&hvarTarget=browse#reviews JT Bagwell
  20. I have fished a Yamamoto Kreature deep a lot. I use a 3/4 oz brass weight on a Carolina rig. JT Bagwell
  21. Man, I must be doing something wrong. People on here are driving Lambos, Jags and stuff like that and I am stuck with a Dodge Durango and a Crew Cab Silverado Z71. It just isn't fair. lol I almost bought a BMW a few years ago. I drove by the dealership every day and that little black beamer was just sitting there. One day I told my wife that I was going to go buy it. She said, OK. She waited a second and said "but I just don't know how you are going to tow your boat with a BMW." At that time we only had a truck and her car and she wasn't about to get rid of her car and drive my pickup. JT Bagwell
  22. When my wife and I first got married she had a card with a balance of about $5,000 on it. She had used it to pay for some of her books and classes, when she was in college, so she didn't have to get a bigger student loan (very dumb idea). One day I was looking at her card statement and I noticed she had a terrible interest rate because she had got the card back when she was 16. Her monthly finance charge was $50-$60. The next day I got a thing in the mail from Citibank that offered 0% on all balance transfers and purchases for a year. After that all purchases were at 6%. So I took my wife's card and put it in the shreader. Then I called Citibank and did a balance transfer to the new card. It ended up saving us several hundred dollars in finance charges. Everything we paid during that year went straight to her principle instead of 90% of it going to interest. Sometimes this junk mail is a good deal, but I agree that it does get old getting them every day. JT Bagwell
  23. PowerPro does not have a lot of shock strength because it does not stretch. When you hit your flippin' switch your lure went from a high rate of speed to a dead stop in about a second. That is what caused the line to break, not because the line is junk. When you set the hook on a fish, your body and your rod absorb a lot of the shock. That is why the line doesn't break on fish. In a nutshell, PowerPro is Awesome!!! I have it on almost every reel I own. JT Bagwell Ps: Unless it is a new product line that I am not aware of, PowerPro doesn't even make 25 lb test. They have 20, 30, 40, etc.
  24. You are welcome. I just felt as though I should clarify what I knew. JT Bagwell Ps: I had to edit my post because I saw when you quoted me that I spelled "recently" wrong. lol I hate mispelling words. My wife is a teacher so she hates it even more.
  25. I know for a fact that as recently as last season, a lot of the BPS reels were manufactured by Shakespeare (Pflueger). Since a lot of the designs have not changed much, I would assume they are still produced the same this season. The reason I know this is because I do a lot of promotional work with some of Shakespeare's product lines. A senior employee at the company told me about the deal with BPS. JT Bagwell
