And the winner is....
Nick, That is a very good question. I decided a while ago that from now on, when I do giveaways they will be entirely random. I don't run the email version of my column. For the most part I have nothing to do with that part (too much extra work) other than writing the columns. So in the future what I will do is pick a number and call the people at the Pro Bass Networks and ask them for the information that correspondes with that number. That way all of the subscribers are eligible. As of right now I am not sure what the next prizes will be, but I am trying to put together some cool stuff. JT Bagwell

$1,000,000
To be honest I think the more "Business Savvy" the angler is, the more money the record will be worth. If it is just some Joe Schmoe that was bobber fishing with a dew worm and has about as much business sense as a sack of hammers, he probably won't retire with the money he earns. On the flip side, if it is caught by someone that at least has some knowledge of Marketing, Public Relations or things of that nature, it could be like finding a golden ticket in a Wonka bar. JT Bagwell Ps: Sorry if some of you young bucks don't understand the reference to the Golden Ticket. (lol)

JT.." Never Ending Fued"
Thanks Guys, Glad you liked it. Now although I personally am not going to put it on the FLW website. I would not have any objections to one of you placing the link on there. Oh by the way, here is the link. ;D http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/Bagwell/bagwells_bass_tactics_10.html Thanks again JT Bagwell

Why can we not post pics in our threads?
You can post pictures in your messages. Just click on the 3rd icon in the second row and insert the URL to your picture between the two things. JT Bagwell

Finally
I might actually get to fish this weekend. It is 29 degrees right now, but they are saying it might reach the 50's on Sunday. After that it is back to the cold temperatures for us. JT Bagwell

Finally
LOL Yep, still down in the basement. The water has thawed (for now), but it is still only 21 degrees outside. They are calling for temps in the 40's by the weekend so maybe I can get a little fishing in. Thanks JT Bagwell

Spare Fuel?
Gasoline melts styrofoam. If even a few drops of the gas leaked out it would turn to napalm. You need to keep the extra fuel container in a well ventilated area. You also need to make sure it is not illegal in your area. JT Bagwell

Finally
Roadwarrior, I got an email from one of the guys at X Point this morning. He wanted me to let you know that there are no new product lines currently in the works for X Point. Thanks JT Bagwell

Finally
I am glad that you like the X Point product line. They are awesome hooks and I agree with you 100% about their innovative hook point design. Unfortunately I am not aware of any new product designs that are currently in developement. I will however forward this thread to two of the main guys at the company. If we are lucky we can get some insight from them. Until then you might want to look at Daiichi hooks. They have an extensive product line and I am sure you can find what you want there. www.daiichihooks.com Take Care JT Bagwell

My website is finally online. The folks at the Pro Bass Networks are still doing some modifications, but it is now online. Of course, I think just about every article on my site can be found on BassResource. ;D Check it out if you want. www.BagwellsBassTactics.com or www.JTBagwell.com Both URL's go to the same site. Let me know what you think. JT Bagwell

Paint for Jig Heads???
I use the Pro-Tec powder coat paints for my jigs. It works great. If you bake it after you put it on, the finish will be super tough. JT Bagwell

Outboard Transmissions? Good Idea?
Sounds like a good idea to me, but I have to believe that if something like that were actually possible Mercury, Yamaha, Honda or some other big company would have been doing it already. JT Bagwell

Will This Work?
Stickling, Sorry but that wasn't me that you played computer games with. If he looked like me though he must have been a good lookin' son of a gun. ;D JT Bagwell

How to find the Thermocline?
If you have a good LCD Sonar unit you can see it right on your screen. On mine it shows up as almost a shaded area. JT Bagwell

Will This Work?
Taking a rod with just a jig on it and will definately make you a better jig fisherman. Jigs are a tough bait to learn and the reason most people can't catch fish with them is a lack of confidence. For the most part you will not catch a lot of fish on a jig, but the ones you do catch will be bigger. Do exactly what you said and take just one rod with a jig tied on and fish it until you start catching bass. You won't be sorry. Here is a fish I caught on a 1/16th oz jig with a Zoom Big Salty Chunk on the back. JT Bagwell

Butt Seat??? Safe???
I think D. Taylor is already 85 or 86 years old. One tough dude that never sits down. 4' chop on the river and he is still standing. Guy is like a weeble wobble. He don't fall down. JT Bagwell
-
TRAILOR?
Go to your local Lowes and pick up some Valspar Primer and Paint. You won't be sorry for that purchase and neither will your boat trailer. JT Bagwell

What's going on with BASS Fantasy?
The Harris Chain tournament is going on this weekend. You can not adjust rosters while there is a tournament going on. JT Bagwell

The faithful and true
Dude, I don't even throw that many frickin' baits in a week. Nevermind trying to do it in a day. I would be wore out. ;D JT Bagwell

Trolling Motor Batteries
Group 31 AC Delco Voyagers or Group 31 Minn Kota batteries are my choices. If I recall correctly the Minn Kota branded batteries are made by Trojan. JT Bagwell
