  1. My PB is on the jitterbug. Awesome night time lure, havnt had any real luck during day though.
  2. Bought a spool of 12lb for my spinning reel...havnt put it on yet, too hot to fish anyways.
  3. try the sebile flatt shad snagless http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120640992816#vi-content
  4. do some research before you speak... alot of people have great success with the clones...
  5. Exactly how I feel...
  6. It was online, but most stores will price match. I just ordered it online since it is free shipping anyways
  7. Havnt had much time to really fish the area, just started last year. Beaver is great for quantity (but all fish around 15"). Lower nemahbin is good too. Looking to expand my range this year. Just got heavily into fishing last summer about midway though.
  8. Ive ordered from there and not had a problem. I was just using it as a reference to show price difference. Most of the stuff on poorfish is ~20% higher than say gander. Another example: 6500 c3: $132 http://www.poorfish.com/p-1665-abu-garcia-ambassadeur-6500c3-baitcast-reel.aspx 6500c3: $90 http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=401191&pdesc=Abu_Garcia_Ambassadeur_Baitcasting_Reel_6500C3&r=view&from=grid&review=1#details_box_holder

  10. Warden Authority Conservation wardens performing their duties may enter private land at any time. Wardens may also seize as evidence all fish taken or possessed in violation of the law, and any equipment used in connection with a violation. Wardens do not have the authority to enforce trespass laws. Taken from 2011 regulations, page 21
  11. Hey neighbor,I am in Hartland Osceola looks to be on the WI/MN boarder North of the twin cities
  12. Gander had all their PP priced on sale for the last couple months (just ended) 150yds were like $13, and 300yds were $18...didnt matter the weight either. I picked up a 300yd spool of 80lb for $18 and free shipping... cant beat that.
  13. Saw their sale too, but didnt bite. Their prices are already about 20% higher than most places...and I have not heard any reviews on the place.
  14. Personally,anytime
  15. Here is my ride: Ocean Kayak Drifter And, here is my ride on top of my ride that gets my other ride to the water
  16. Saw that on facebook, just put an order in
  17. That is how a lot of stuff on amazon is. Amazon does stock and ship many items, but most of them come from different companies. I am sure a % goes to amazon, but companies basically use them as a medium to advertise their products instead of waiting for customers to "find" them. Also, with most items you have a choice of where you want to buy from. For any given item, there may be multiple stores that are offering it. That being said, I purchase a lot from amazon...and I also purchase a lot from retailers. Some things I am just not willing to buy from retailers if I can get it online for a significant amount cheaper with free shipping.I have yet to come across a local company that has impressed me enough to gain all my business. I bought two different rods from amazon, both came packed half +++ thankfully they were not broken. The tube could have easily fit 10 poles in it, and my pole was barely wrapped at all. The second one was packaged nicely, but that was from an outside retailer.
  18. I fish from a kayak... one day we were out and it was slightly windy so we were being blown around a fair amount. Mid way through reeling in a cast I was drifting bad towards the shore, so I stopped reeling, laid my pole down and began to paddle a bit. As soon as I picked up my paddle my pole starts diving into the water, a bass had taken the buzzbait when it began sinking. Dropped my paddle, saved the pole... fish on
  19. Ive caught more fish on my .99 chartreuse buzzbait from wal-mart than any other buzzbait in any color. It baffles me, but it works. I refuse to spend over a few bucks on buzzbaits/spinnerbaits...especially since they tend to get annihilated by toothy critters in my area
  20. For those of you who use left hand baitcasters... You can get the Revo SX in either 6.4 or 7.1 for $100 on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Abu-Garcia-Revo-Fishing-Reel/dp/B001NGO6WS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1301058977&sr=8-3
  21. They are the same price in store at gander mtn...atleast by me. 3.99 for all Rapala DT's (flat or fat)
  22. I picked up the diawa megaforce combo from cabelas last year. It was my first baitcast setup, so I didnt want to break the bank. It is listed for $90, and there is free shipping right now. I got mine on sale for I think $70. I have caught a truckload of bass on this thing and have had no problems. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Daiwa-Megaforce174-Pre-Mount-Baitcast-Combos/738864.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dmegaforce%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts&Ntt=megaforce&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products
  23. Maybe its quiter, but for almost double the price is it really worth it? Not sure how it is "a lot better"...Ill deal with a little bit of noise(which I dont notice), over spending almost double for 832. I am sure it is a good line, and if it drops in price after it has been out for awhile I will probably try it. PP works great for me, I would rather spend that extra $8 (as insignificant as it seems to others) on a new plug, or a couple packs of plastics. just my .02 though
  24. I run powerpro on all my reels, and I love it. Never had any problems with it, and the price is right compared to other braids. Right you you can get any 150yd spool in any weight you want for $12...and free shipping gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=411962&pdesc=PowerPro_Fishing_Line_150_yds_Moss_Green&aID=504V3&merchID=4006
