Definately check them out.. I get a lot of my tackle from there as they have some good weekly deals. This week they have senkos for $3.99, zoom flukes and lizards for $1.99 to name a few I remember.

  3. I read somewhere can't remember where but he had a small weight pegged on it and that was it.
  4. I fish the 8" Zoom lizards with a 3/16 oz slip sinker.
  5. Get some Zoom Super Flukes and Senkos
  6. The vmc weedless whacky hooks are the ones I'm looking at. I've got some owners that I used before in 1/0 but I feel like I need a larger size.
  7. What size hook do you guys use for wacky rigged senkos?
  8. Strike King KVD 1.5
  9. I use the stanley double take frog hook 4/0
  10. Anyone have a pic?
  11. If you had to choose an all-around spinning rod between these to which would you choose? Techniques most used are shaky head, wacky rig, senko, flukes. Thanks Dobyns Champion http://www.***.com/Dobyns_Champion_Spinning_Rods/descpage-DCST.html Falcon Cara T7 http://www.***.com/Falcon_Cara_T7_Spinning_Rods/descpage-FCSR.html
  12. I just looked and it looks like all the in store sales I saw are also available online.
  13. If anyone has an Academy near by they have a pretty good fishing sale going on. Senkos and KVD crankbaits for $3.99 is what I picked up this evening. A couple others I remember on sale were xcalibur squarebills $3.99 , red eye shads $3.99, zoom 25% off, Havoc $1.99, Powerbait 2 for $5.00, Gamakatsu 25% off and they also have a rod riot going on. I'll probably be back by the end of the week lol..
  14. Got mine yesterday and Wasnt really impressed with the sale
  15. $5 Berkleys at wally world. Love mine
  16. That was not the case last year. Only select items were on sale and the majority were items already on their sale page.
  17. Ive had nothing short of a great experience with the regular pad crasher.
  18. Probably a bassmaster classic sale.. I remember they had one last year but I wasnt impressed.
  19. I caught a 22" bass recently that was 6lbs 4oz here in Tennessee
  20. Thanks for the info.. I am looking at the Champion series.
  21. Looking at getting a new spinning rod and having trouble deciding which to get between the 702 and 703. My main uses for a spinning rod are trick worms, shaky heads, wacky worms, and sometimes soft jerkbaits. I was leaning towards the 702 but not sure. I'm coming from a 6'6" M. I also thought about the 683?? Oh decisions, decisions!
  22. Ok I'm fairly new to this deal with umbrella rigs. Since I've started using it I have had two instances where I have had very nice fish on and each one pulled off and upon inspection I found a bent hook. The first one I saw two weeks ago looked to be 7-8lbs and one yesterday which I did not see but a flash. I have caught several 2-3 lbers with no problem. I am using a Dobyns Savvy 735C, 7'3" MH XF Action, Shimano Curado E7 and 65lb Power Pro with 1/8 oz and 1/4 oz jigheads with 4/0 and 5/0 hooks. I also set my drag somewhat loose. What am I doing wrong? Do I need heavier duty hooks? Thanks in advance
  23. Thanks, anyone else?
  24. x2 on the Sharpie tip.
