Is the bionic combo a daily deal? Or is it on sale for the entire length od the sale? Is it the baitcaster or the spinning set up? Might grab one if its the baitcaster.

I was at BPS last week and they had 2 of the new bionic (white) rods behing the reel desk. They werent available for sale yet. They had 1 spinning and 1 casting. The guy let me play with it and i was very impressed with the feel of it for a $70 rod. It was extremely light. I didnt study it like i would if i was buying it. But from the feel, i would have no hesitation on buying it for $70

Just get the regular mgx. You're not really gonna tell the weight diff at that point. Plus it's a good amount cheaper. Or go with the new premier for that matter. Stronger drag, same brakes as the mgx and still light as heck.

I have the mgx. Love it. I was considering a core or a premier but I will probably just wait it out until the mgxtreme is out.

Yep. They are ten bucks cheaper plus 15-20 on a rod trade in
