i am looking for recommendations a higher end reel i can buy used in the $50-100 range and rebuild with new bearings and and any other worn parts like the curado. i need multiple size offerings, common with plenty of used ones on the market, and good support from the manufacturer.

i like to fish shakey head under docks as i can really work it slowly when i get a good cast. also clean bottom is something to take advantage of under low docks of a decent size inhibit vegetation growth.

most likely your predator population is to high and all your prey fry is being consumed before its gets big enough to provide any real nutrition. i would be taking out out all the smaller bass and pickerel i caught.

i many fish 2 lakes down on jordan. all spring ive had only 1 trip where the fish were shallow every other fish has come 15-30 ft on the main lake.

these little boats hold their value so if you buy it and dont like it you can always sell and get your money out of it.

i like bright for weightless(white,pink,chartreuse,methialate,redshad) and natural or darker for shakey head for t-rig(junebug,watermelon redflake,green pumpkin,)

did you tie braid straight to the spool? if so you will need some mono backer then a joining knot like the uni to uni or alberto.

you would have much better results going with trotlines and hoopnets for generating a significant consistent amount of protein for a food bank.

that reel has been on my main spinning rod for 2 years and counting. great reel.

i run 12 flouro leader on 30 lb power pro. its not that i think i need 30lb line for bass its both of those have a diameter of 8lb mon so they match up well. run uni to uni for my leader knot and have never lost a fish to it.

if your zoning out on long runs your missing useful info. are the birds or fish feeding? balls of shad on the surface of the main lakes or creeks?were is everybody else fishing? any temp changes on the graph?

spending the week with some friends on grenada lake mainly chasing croppie. in my reading up on the water i found out it has smallmouth. i would love to catch one as i have never even been on a lake with them before. does anyone have any info on how to get a hook in one i would greatly appreciate it. if had to guess the finness techniques i use on spots and largemouth would be a good start, but im lost as far as what structure and cover to target.
