  1. I'm a huge bomber fan, I've tried many other brands but when it comes down to it the bombers still produce and you can't beat a $3 price tag.
  2. Me too, never have enough though Enjoy that new rod, love mine and has been my favorite since
  3. I use to love my premiers, then I get a hold of the avid and the hand hump alone just made them feel better in my hands. You can't go wrong with the lower priced premiers, they are stout and can take the abuse.
  4. Shhhh don't post that, I'm waiting for the wife's approval.
  5. I don't consider braid a component to ultralight, having a superline kills the break factor in battling. Just the typical Trilene 4-6lb is a good start and all you need if you decide to not use braid. As far as UL baits, casting bubble and dry/wet fly are excellent and mostly over looked. What produces the most for me is a 2" grub on a 1/8oz (or even a 1/16 for slower action) ball head jig.
  6. I swear when I quoted you it said something different
  7. I think you missed his part about buyers making informative decisions, there is a difference between info and opinion.
  8. As I said in another thread, chartreuse is a flashy color, one of the highly visible colors that gets the attention over all the regular colors seen
  9. I'll have to chalk this up to a loss, I've caught bass but it's not worth the expense being here.
  10. I use to use spinning my whole life, then I picked up a baitcaster and use them exclusively. Now I can't stand spinning gear since the feeling isn't as 'fluid' as baitcasting
  11. Like I said, it's a common problem. Even if it isn't the problem now, it will be soon. I rarely see the fuse or ground being the problem when this case came up.
  12. Yes gm's usually have a turn signal switch that goes out (more of a common problem) and it should be on the steering column. You might have to remove the wheel to get to it.
  13. Looks like the Panfish series mated with the Rage, double barf.
  14. In the eyes of the masses (facebook) they have to show good public relations.
  15. I would but they don't make them in my size
  16. looks real nice on the reader in line being scanned
  17. Checked out the maps around here, visited most of the lakes and got to say a bit disappointing for shore fishing. Perhaps if I was looking for bream and bluegill it would more productive, about everyone I've ran into doesn't bass fish. From the looks of it it's just a boat only way to fish.
  18. The Reuben alone sounds enticing I must find some bass down here somewhere though
  19. I wish the formula was there but it isn't. The horrible pressure, overabundance of pickerel (they decimate the trout stock) and the birds of prey (hawks/eagles) population is soaring. Not to forget the keep everything people. I keep dodging minsi for Kaercher since its turning into a dead sea, Kaercher is like minsi 5 years ago where if you put in the time/effort you can produce something. Minsi sucks bad enough where the reward isn't worth the journey, you would also think the bass would be use to the wind since it always windy but its another bust. Dale, I forgot to tell you, after we left the lake to retreat to cabelas from the rain we went back around sunset and hit a couple decent bass on poppers, topwaters, and the shallow cranks. Once I get back from the AR trip we'll comb through the other lake
  20. But doesn't the cumaras have more of a fast action though?
  21. Somewhere in the 3.5lb range
  22. Come on pus!
  23. Found the 7 day licence isn't bad, missing one day but it's good enough, now since you said that I'll have to bring my UL stuff
