Other Folks Same Lake More Bass
If they know the lake well enough they could be catching much. The lake I mainly fish, almost everyone asks each other since it's not big, bass are densely populated, they are hard to locate, the average depth is around 6-8ft. At times it gets to the point if you catch a 2-3lb bass the whole lake knows

Going Back To Presque Isle Bay
Well the family had a blast the first time up last month, through we shore fished primarily two spots, one around the monument and the other was the Lawrence Pier (public access walkway) which was very successful compared to the monument area. The bay is huge with many spots but I'm wondering if theres more area to cover while we're up there, going to spend around 4 days up there and like know more spots to fish without going on private property or getting skunked. Either the ponds, the bayfront shorelines, or the Isle, like to know more areas to fish Also any tips/tricks would be helpful

Senkos Bunching On My Hook.
So what's the sad part using senkos? I agree with little ones clinging on to the unhooked portion, fish love senkos and will hold on for their ride for a bit.

Latest Issue Of Virginia Wildlife: Northern Snakeheads
I agree with the non-frankenfish, but it still is an adaptable species for water conditions, has few predators, and takes some of the food from other fish. Not something you'd want to overrun.

Buying A Rod For My Friend
What was bad about the surgery? Doctors usually say two things to kids with fractures, you're lucky you can walk after this and the arthritis bit at a certain age so take care of it. If there's a gander mountain near you look for the st croix premiers, they sometimes have them for $80

Fish Identification (Photo Inside)
That's for the identification. As for any sound, there was none. When we got it up from the water he didn't flop around and was quiet, like he played dead

Down by the marina in Presque Isle Bay, wife caught onto a fat boy but we don't have a clue what it is, have photos with my son holding it. It's got more of a sucker mouth from what I could see.

Your Favorite Fishing Rods
I started out with shimano, but l had one of their rods break bringing in a fish. After asking customer service about their other rods durability the guy told me he didn't know and I should use someone else's rods. That threw me into trying St Croix, been with them since.

U.s. Made Spincast Reels
Yeah, the Omega Z02, it's 6lb rated. The problem with omegas is they are way too heavy For ultral lights, you best bet is the zebco platinum 11. Shame it's the only spincaster I never tried out, the platinum 33 is nice though, so hopefully the quality trickled down the line. Stay away from the pflueger/shakespere micros, they break too easily, never knew 4lb triline could cut through a metal bell in 2 days until my wife bought them

Uses Rods And Reels - What Models To Look For
The purpose is finding diamonds in the rough, I visit many markets/auctions/yard sales where plenty of deals are found. Some people who sell at these markets don't know what they have and price the stuff with the rest of the junk. Yesterday was a good day, I spent about $35 and picked up a dozen of new in box rapalas, 3 big Plano tackle boxes, and assorted gear. At another market I spent $1 for a small box that had 3 blue fox spinners, 4 mepps 1/16's, 3 1/8 rooster tails. Deals are out there. I know I've read several posts searching these forums alone where guys would say 'I would buy "x" rod if it I could find it' that can't be bought at a store anymore
