BPS Extreme Baitcast Reels
I'm with you. I have two of the rods, but I'll stick to Shimano or Abu-Garcia for reels.

First Time Out This Year
My Dad and I went out today for about 5-1/2 hours. 1st time out this year for me while Dads already been out 20-30 times. We fished off the bank and got eight largemouth. Two on Zoom Ultravibes, three on tubes, and three on crankbaits. Dad ended up with the biggest one, around 3-1/4 pounds. IWe had a good time, but it was nice to get back home again out of the cold. Temp was about 45 and with the wind chill, the temp was probably in the high 30's.

any computer people?
I would go to their website and take a look around in the FAQ or help section. They may have something already posted about how to fix it.

Best Jig technique
I really started using them myself, last year. First thing I can tell you is go to the home page of this website and do a search for jigs. Then read everything. In the lakes I fish the bite will either come when it is sinking to the bottom or when I drag it back in like a plastic worm. I try to match the trailer to one of the colors in the skirt.

Search bait help.
Rat-L-Traps and 1/2 ounce spinner baits will be my main search baits this year.
-
Trimming a Jig
I trim the guard down so that it sticks up a little past the hook point. I also trim the skirt so that it is even with no pieces sticking out longer than the rest. If you are using a plastic chunk, you might try taking a sharp knife and cutting the ends of the chunk in half, so that it has more action.

1000yds of Yozuri Hybrid...$6.88
I have used Yo-Zuri 10# on spinning tackle in the past with no problem, as long I get the line on the reel tight. The problem is that no store around me, including BPS, and Wal-mart, carry it anymore. I am waiting for the Cabela's to open up sometime in April.

keeping confidence
I will either change lakes or change what I am fishing for. If those bass don't want their picture taken with me its their problem.

Bass Pro XPS Rattle Shad
I have never used one but IMO, you can't go wrong with a Rat-L-Trap.

Shakey or Finesse worms??
I tend to use alot of the Zoom finesse worms.

Guestimate the weight of my fish

Our Responsibility as Anglers
The Mo. Conservation Dept. has put canisters near the parking areas of several of the lakes I fish on. They are specifically for used line.

Fishy places
I love to find weedy flats with a hole that drops 3-4 feet. I just drag the worm across the weeds and let it fall into the hole.
-
Crank bait storage MESS
The first thing I would do is go through and take out the crankbaits that I never use. When I did that I went from around 100 crankbaits down to around 30.

Fishing from the back of the boat underated?
Another vote for boat position. There is nothing worse than being in the wind and having the front end of the boat stay pretty much in one spot while the back end of the boat swings around.

What do you eat?
We use to do that years ago while cat fishing. I quit it when I started bass fishing. It was just to big of a hassle getting everything out to eat and then putting it all away again.

Lines,Lines,Lines,LInes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????
I don't know about the BPS where you are, but the one by me stopped selling Yo-Zuri Hybrid in the large spools last year. They only carry the line in the filler spools, I think they are 275 yard size. I have never seen the ultra soft line in the store or the catalogue. I can't wait until the Cabela's opens this spring!

What do you eat?
Usually a 2- liter of Mt. Dew, and some apples or oranges. If its on the way I'll swing by White Castle and pick up some belly bombers.
