I vote location also. It could be that some other species of fish has moved into the area and their feeding is upsetting the bass.

I took my two girls bass fishing for the first time last year. My older one had been bluegill fishing before. They were casting for about 1-1/2 hours before they got tired and wanted to come home. So, I guess in answer to your question, I didn't.

I like Zoom Plastics just because they have a large assortment, and I can usually find what I need without looking all over. For small jigs, I like the Strike King Bitsy Bug.

I guess my favorite spot is around 60 years old. I have been going there since I was about 7 or 8.

The place were I go has about 10 lakes between 10 and 160 acres, and around 20 big ponds.

I think it depends on how smart the bass is in relation to other bass, and how the smarter ones get conditioned to their surroundings.

They are two different things. You can get rewards points from using the BPS credit card, or you can get reward points from using the reward card. When I called the customer service number they told me that on the reward card, the points were cancelled after one year of inactivity. If you have points on both the credit card and the reward card, and you haven't used the reward card in the last year you loose the points. I don't have a credit card so I didn't ask about it.

Another good place to try a top water plug is where ground water is running into the lake. Bugs can get washed in that way.

It is like an addiction. Once you see something new on the company web page, you cannot stop thinking about it. The Baitmonkey just keeps gnawing at you until you make that purchase.

The top producer so far this year has been in this order: Crankbaits Texas rigged plastic worms Tubes I also learned how to fish a jig this year but by the time I was starting to know what I was doing the cold weather came in and froze everything up.
