US Men's Volleyball Wins Gold!!!
What an up and down couple of weeks for this team. Their head coach's father-in-law was killed and mother-in-law critically injured. Now, they blow the minds of all the experts and win the gold. This has to be the most compelling story of these Olympics, more than Bolt, more than Phelps, more than the "Redeem Team." This is movie material. Wow!

US SLACK & Field Team
No they didn't. They dropped the baton.

US SLACK & Field Team
Troutfisher, Yes, I was referring specifically to the US Track and Field Team not preforming well. SuskyDude, The whole point of this thread is that our atheletes HAVEN'T given it all they got. It was started in lieu of both our men's and women's 4x100m relay teams dropping the baton. Passing the baton has nothing to do with natural talent and everything to do with practice. If the coach would have simply had them practice their handoffs a couple dozen times the US would probably have two more metals not. Not taking the time to practice the baton pass is simply NOT giving it your all. Very disappointing.

US SLACK & Field Team
Overall, the US hasn't preformed as well as they normally do in the Olympics. But, BOTH the men and women dropping their batons in the 4x100m relay shows that they've been just plain slack. This is a Jr. High School track mistake that is solved by practice. Their coach ought to be banned by the USOC. > Oh well, maybe we'll wipe up in the 400!!! Go USA!!!

My brother is driving me crazy!!!!
That definitly won't work cuz he is a wimp and i would probly break his nose and would twist his arm outta socket.....i've suggested we get boxing gloves and headgear so when it gets heated we can duke it out, but he said no... what might that mean? Andrew, Don't pay these other guys any attention. They're just having fun at you and your brothers' expense. I offered a very serious and problem solving solution. You need a popsicle. Allow me to explain: Step 1: Get a popsicle from the freezer. Step 2: Whack your brother in the head with it. Step 3: Eat the popsicle. This might sound gay stupid, but trust me, you will feel a lot better if you follow my instructions for two reasons. First, whacking your brother on the head with the popsicle be an obvious delight. Second, popsicles are always better once they've been broken up a little bit. A broken up popsicle is comparable to soft-serve icecream verses regular icecream. This is a win-win solution to your problem!

Sounds like somebody needs a popsicle.

Will Michael Phelps Win 8 Gold Medals?
With some help from his team mates. Yep. He only said that about a dozen times last night. He's a humble guy.

I've Got The Blues
I just looked down at the list of members online and I noticed that my name was in blue instead of the usual green. Realizing that I must have reached the 1000 post mark, I clicked on it just to see, and I already had 1014 posts. I guess I'm not very observant. :-[ Oh well, just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for making BR a great place to hang out on the web.

Hunting Question - Curious For Responses
I wouldn't eat an injured, wounded, or sick animal if I didn't know how it got that way. If I hit one with a bullet or a vehicle then I'll eat it. Otherwise, no. I'm all for eating what you kill, but I'd rather not take the chance of eating tainted meat.
