Got some on FT Belvoir. Some spots people only fish for cat fish. The better spots got lilley pads all around them. I love it when they say, "they ain't biting." But then you throw some top water bait to get them stirring then throw some shakey heads and they destroy the bait.

Anything I can rig up shakey head style. But thats after some kind of topwater lure. Mainly buzzbait.

They got some spots on base. Caught a 2lb 4 oz LM, 3 year old daughter caught a 1lb 14 oz crappie. I think I get some credit because I cast and set the hook for her. She caught it on a Carolina rigged pumkin colored grub on a sponge bob fishing pole.

When I fish with my three year old daughter, I do most of my fishing with the shakey head, because you have to fish is slower so it gives me time to check out what my daughter is doing. I personally use any worm that is watermelon or pumkin color with/without flakes.

Just moved to FT Belvoir and was wondering other than the basin here. Where are some good places to fish. You don't need to tell me your fishing hot spots, just bodies of water will do just fine.
