  7. I use Baitcasting gear for most of my fishing, but reserve my spinning to finesse rigs. I like a curado on a medium fast action rod. smaller profile and lighter. You can fish everything that use for spinning on baitcasting.

  13. If i am looking to throw down I prefer a coors light. When i just want to toss a few back i'll go for a molson canadian, guiness or longboard lager usually.

  23. Its been a few yrs. since I fished the Flint but if u wanna wade fish Sprewell bluff off hwy. 35 just south of Thomaston has excellent opportunties. Also there is some good access through Big lazer creek WMA below the hwy. 36 bridge! Seen some 18-20 inch shoalies holding there . Never got to fish too much on the upper Flint. You can contact the Flint Outdoor Center for more info and maps..I think they offer shuttles for people doing float trips too. hope this helps.
  24. I used to have a favorite hat that I had to wear. Now that hat has finally wore out and I am still catching fish. So no, but as long as I got a line wet with some kind of lure on it I got chance.
