Crankbait Rods For Dropshotting?
I know aaron martens uses a fully parabolic rod because it helps protect the very light line he uses. Some times he uses line as light as 2#. That said the tip he uses is still very limber and I think it would be tough to get the proper characteristics out of a crankbaits rod, and if you use glass your giving up a lot of sensitivity.

Moderate Fast Action
I don't own any st croix and don't really plan to, but I have never heard anything but the best when it comes to customer service. If you like the rod do t worry because they definitely have the reputation of a great company.

What Are You Trying This Season?
Rage Shellcracker Megabass pop max Deep crank Square bill cranks I'm most excited about the pop max. Watched some videos on it and even though the price is a little rediculous I think it might be worth it. Can't wait to get my firs fish on one.

What Is Your Confidence Bait?
My number one confidence bait is a zoom fluke in glimmer blue color. I use it in the top of the water column 99.9% of the time. If I want to get deep my go to bait is a 1/2oz football head custom tied on a revenge jig head.

Rod Shipped = Broken Tip.
BS? Just because you had a bad expierience that could very easily be blamed on the shipping company. What reason does he have to lie? How about I call BS on you because my experience has been the same as hooties. I have ordered close to a dozen rods from TW, every one with bubble wrap and tied in place. Every rod 100% what I expect. If your experience was different than mine it must be BS there is no other explanation right.

Soft Plastics + Hot Vehicle = ?
Summers around here may not be crazy hot, but it does get into the 90's and occasionally hit 100 or so. I leave my bag in the car all season and never had anything melt. I keep them all in original bags aside from rage draws which I keep in my jig box. The bags of plastics are also in a Plano organizer bag. Usually keep them on the floor of my car sometimes on the back seat.

Just Ordered An Nrx!
The first time you cast it you will no longer regret the money, especially at that price. The first time you catch a fish on it you'll start saving for the next one.

15% Off Boca Bearings
I wanted to buy a pair of spool pin pliers but couldn't find where to enter the code. Looked everywhere and gave up. Where was it?

Can Less Bearings Be Better Than More?
Quality bearings is obviously more important but I can absolutely notice the difference in retrieve between a reel with bearings in the handle and not.

Looks Like New Abu Garcia Rods Maybe Coming
There is another rod coming. I remember in another thread somebody looked up the pending trademarks around the time the first pictures of the mgxtreme came out. No info on it other than it also starts with a V but can't remember the name.

Do You Have To Have A Metal Eye For Braid
Just about any ceramic guide will be fine with braid. It's funny that your friend said you need metal guides because even the hardest metal guides are far more prone to grooving than any ceramic. Myself along with most people haven't experienced problems with guides such as recoils but there is plenty of proof that it can happen and it's almost always a metal guide.

Tackle Warehouse Question
If it is one of the 10% pro discount promo codes then it should. My friend just bought one of the old steez reels and was able to use the promo code even though it was already on sale.

Pp Super Lick 8
As said before performance wise and color fastness you won't gain anything over other braids. However it is by far the smoothest and quietest braid I've used or seen including sufix 832. For me this is enough to warrant the price. I will continue to use it until I find something smoother.

Reliability Of Tw?
This really is just crazy cheap. I wanted to overnight a reel to pure fishing once and it would have cost me over $50 to do so with ups. I'm sure they must have some kind of contract with them but I still don't know how they do it.
-
Reliability Of Tw?
Not that I'm really adding any new info but, yes they are great. Never had a problem with any of the many rods and reels Ive ordered. Even when it comes to baits I feel like it would be easy to screw up a color every now and the but they never have.

Great Sale For Reels.
I was worried I was about to make another poor financial decision, but no revo premiers so makes it easy on me. SCORE: Me-1 Bait Monkey-0

What Line To Use For A Jig Rod
I fish a lot of rocks. Last year I made the switch to braid with a flouro leader. I have been very happy with the results. I get the no stretch property of braid which helps set the heavy wire hook, by the flouro handles he rocks much better. If I was fishing heavy vegetation I would probably go with straight braid.

What Should I Do With This Spinning Rod?
There is no doubt that the crucial rod is the better piece of equipment. However I'm going to go the other way on the trade idea. If your not really going to use it and your friend is a good friend who needs it, deserves it, and will appreciate why not make him happy. On the other hand if he's just an opportunistic schemer trying to take advantage of the situation I wouldn't do it. If your set on keeping it depending on the model I would use it for flukes. I only have one spinning combo in my arsenal, the only thing that's ever been tied to it is zoom fluke. I strongly prefer spinning to casting for flukes. Not so much for weight castability but I feel I work the bait better with the weight under my hand than in my hand.
