  1. I've experienced this in the pond for sure. Problem is, no rain=no water movement and we are in a severe drought. I start fishing about 8:30 PM and fish until I can't see.
  2. Not much structure to work with deep either, in this pond anyway. Twelve feet is the deepest I've found.
  3. Water temp in the pond I'm fishing is 88F. Ain't catching fish close to shore. Should I be looking deep?
  4. Yeah. The one at Cabelas may do. I wanted something a little more substantial. I've seen two made out of fiberglass that I really liked. The ones at Home Depot have the hot and cold hook ups for indoor use. If I could rig it up for a garden hose, it would be better.
  5. Where can I find a portable outdoor sink for cleaning fish. Don't want a stainless one. Looking for a fiberglass or plastic one. Haven't had much luck at Home Depot or Lowes.
  6. Costas work good for me.
  7. I'm the 3rd or 4th owner of the one I have. It must be over 10 years old. It is in great shape.
  8. It does. Ordered some today.
  9. Tried the Rage Toad today and got like 5 hits just fishing from the bank of the pond behind my house. Very small bass. I actually used the Stanley Ribbitt Double Take hook with the rage toad and the frog seemed to run fine. Not sure I'm gonna stick with that setup though.
  10. I got the green pumpkin/pearl.
  11. Yes it does . Now I have enough craw stuff for a year or more . I like to try different hook and weight combinations.
  12. Well I ordered over $50.00 worth of soft-bodied craws from TW today. I went kinda nuts, but I had to get that free shipping . I got the Berkley chiggers, the Pacas, the Rage Craws, and even someof the Zoom craws. Bunch of different colors. I had a really weak moment.
  13. Got my Rage toads today. Looking forward to trying them out.
  14. Well it came in and it was broken in half by USPS. Sending it back tomorrow.
  15. Thanks. I'm hoping so.
  16. Lotta stores I go in down here don't carry them. They carry Brush Hogs though.
  17. Well I guess I need to start fishing with more craws.
  18. Would the Rapala Flat Rap be considered a jerk bait?
  19. Thanks. No hurry to start tossing them then.
  20. I've never used crawfish baits. I'd like to try some of the soft crawfish lures out there, but don't know when the best time to use them would be. I fish large ponds in south Georgia. Water is not clear, but not super muddy either. I can see at least 3 ft through the brownish water. Pumpkin and watermelon have produced with the Baby Brush Hogs.
  21. I talked my local bait shop into getting some Rage Tail baits. I told them to get the Space Monkey, Smokin Rooster, Toad, and Shad. Wish now that I'd told them to get the Craw. Is it okay to ask which colors work best in general? I have good luck with pumpkin and watermelon baits, so I told them to get some of those. Never fished a crawfish bait of any kind before, so I may be getting them to get some of those if the Rage Tails sell good for them.
  22. I like sniffing plastics.
  23. Thanks for all of the good info. I'm thinking I may get a rod from BPS soon.
  24. Anyone had any 1 piece rods shipped to them and had problems? Been thinking about ordering a 7', 1 piece rod lately.
  25. I hear ya. I haven't gotten in the lake in a couple of weeks. Dry as a bone here in Tifton. Good to know the lipless cranks are working. Maybe I'l start throwing the rat-l-traps.
