Obvious question-are you using the same rounds as always? Some rounds don't like a soft "tap." My brother had a similar problem but his was a semi-auto and in his case, a "screw" had worked its way loose-preventing the pin from striking the primer hard enough. Doubt you have that problem.

I'm not sure but I CAN tell you which characters I liked LEAST. They were the ewoks and jar jar binks. And I hated the pod racing scene(s). They sold out to the kiddies.

Agreed. Definitely check this. In "my" case, it was a rusted out hose clamp ona livewell hose. We came REAL close to sinking.

In my opinion, placing a skirt behind the bullet sinker of a Texas rigged crawdad (such as a Chigger craw) is as good as it gets. This setup is more or less weedless and, unless you are using a tungsten weight, a lot less expensive to buy or replace than a regular jig.

What, in your opinion, are the most physically demaning lures or techniques? I guess I would say the larger deep diving crankbaits and jerkbaits. Both leave my forearms and wrists worn out and sore after a few hours-especially jerkbaits. I'd fish them more if I wasn't so beat up by them.

While high voltage concertina wire and claymore mines carry a certain appeal, I think the next best approach to protecting my boat and gear while I'm camping or at a rest area might be a portable "high illumination" light with a motion sensor (which I could sit in my boat). Ideally, it would also have an app for contacting me via my phone when the sensor is "tripped." Does anyone know of or recommend a particular product?

I find it difficult, sometimes, to justify some of the purchases and "psychic energy" I invest for the "less than ideal" amount of time in which I go fishing. Once could say I "choose" to not go out more often (which is partially true) but when I go fishing, I prefer to make the expenditure worth my while. If there were opportunities closer to home, I'd probably go out about once every other day-at least for a few hours. But the opportunities/resources just aren't there. And though I bought some baits which I call my "Canada baits", I did not make it to Canada (or Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan) this year and it gnaws at me more than a little.

So...tell us what you really think.

For more accurate casting and when lures are heavier and/or have more "pull" or resistance to them (spinnerbaits, deep-divers, etc.) and when more horsing is required (slop, heavy cover, etc.), I'll generally go with a bait casting outfit. But when a "lighter touch" is called for or when I'm fishing the river (in current), I'll choose a spinning outfit. If I'm casting into cover where the fish are holding tight to that cover and I want to bait to fall vertically (and not swing back toward me), I definitely prefer a spinning rod.

I had good luck with the Flappin Craw. They are, perhaps, a little more firm than some others but I don't like a bait which is too squishy anyway. Maybe I can find a clearance bin full of them. (Can't speak on the other products).

Whatever you do, don't do what someone I knew (who could afford it) did: Offer 4 dollars for gas. I'd rather receive nothing than "help" someone clear their conscience (but not really).

Many community college courses "articulate" with other community college (and sometimes University) courses within the same state. But you'll want to be sure of this. An adviser should be able to tell you or you can go to a website (www.transferology.com) to do that research yourself. In addition to equating, you'll want to ensure a course is necessary or required for the school or major you intend to transfer to.

More or less my story. When my old RH Abu Garcia reel quit on me I switched to two "lefty" reels and haven't looked back since. A friend later gave me a RH reel and, feeling compelled to at least TRY it, I lost a nice bass cause I reached for the handle on the wrong side. I put that rod/reel down and haven't used a RH reel since. The debate rages on but it's kind of like arguing over which is superior-chopsticks or forks and spoons. It's all in what you get used to. I think that since you are just starting out and haven't formed a "habit" yet, I'd stay with the "left-handed" reel. (To me the term should be "left-handled" reel and not left-handed).

I'd fish until I found out where they were and how they wanted to be fed.
