Feedback Requested - St. Croix Legend Tournament Series
I bought the Warhorse model over the summer and will never buy another St.Croix rod. Build quality was quite poor for the cost (crooked guides, uneven epoxy) and it was very tip heavy with a Zillion mounted on it. Rod also broke the second day I had it while under a moderate load to check the action. Their customer service was then terrible to deal with. I had to go to the BBB to get any sort of a response. I sold the replacement as soon as I got it and lost $50+ on the deal. I'll be sticking with Alpha angler and ALX from now on.

Separate Live Scope Pole Mount
Separate motorized pole mount is the way to go if you use spotlock. They can be made fairly easily and for a lot less if you have access to a machine shop or have a buddy who does. I spent more on a bracket from Hennessey to mount it (Target Lock + 360 mounting plate for trolling motor) than I did for the rest of the system combined.

Blade Baits
6th sense Slice is a good one. And unlike the Molix and Damiki it actually comes with good hardware.

Boat cover question
Definitely go for the that is made for your boat if its financially feasible. Like others said, the universal covers never fit right, no matter how many poles or modifications you make, which leads to water pooling, premature failure, etc. What you can do to prolong the life of the expensive custom cover is put a tarp or cheap universal cover over it.

Raystown Lake In 1 Week
In one week i will be going to Raystown, and after last year's failure i was hoping to do better. I assume they will be fairly active due to the cooler weather now than this time last year. Any tips for right now?
