Braid Question
How well can a weightless 5' Senko be casted with 50# braid ? I have 1 reel with 10# 832 and it digs a bit but it has caused no problems yet but I guess I will need to keep an eye on it?

Hey Look What I Caught
Just a couple of shots from Yesterday. I went to a lake I hadn't been to in a while. I think I'll go back again soon.

Microguides ?
I ended up buying a Kistler. After 1 day of use it is OK the grip is a bit fatter than I like but it's light and sensitive and has a cork grip. I also got a new reel (Lew's TP) and I haven't seen an increase in casting distance but I am going to try just setting 1 break instead of 2 and see if I can't get more out of it. All & all I'm happy with it and may buy another Microguide rod.

Dobyns Savvy?
I got to handle both of them Yesterday and I sure like how the grip on the Loomis is a small diameter. I just got a Kistler with Microguides I've only fished it 1 day so far so I am trying to decide if I want to buy another micro rod or one of the 2 I started the thread about.

Lew's Rods And Reels
I got to try my new TP reel Yesterday for the first tine and it's great & has some nice features but the regular speed spool is all the reel you need and 1/2 price. By all means if you have the cash get the TP but if not the Speed Spool is still awesome.

Lew's Rods And Reels
I have a tournament pro on the way I have a Speed spool and it is great ! Very small and light but if I had it to do again I'd just get the TP to start with .

Microguides ?
I see a lot of rods around with Microguides And don't know anything about them . Do the small guides affect the casting distance ? I understand they are lighter but other than that ...

Knot & Leader ?
I am new to the forum and have been doing a Lot of searching and learning... but I have a few questions on how to rig up. I am using 10# 832 mainline (bright Green?) should I run a leader before my Senkos...? Should the leader be fluorocarbon? Should the leader also be 10#? How long of a leader should I use (4-5')? I sometimes use a swivel and a 12" leader , what knot do you use with A swivel or is that not a long enough leader? Basically how do you rig your Senko's...

Braid To Flouro Knots
I have another related question or so. If I have 10# test mainline should I run a 10# leader? Should the leader be fluorocarbon? How long of a leader should I use (senkos...). I sometimes use a swivel , what knot do you use with them? Sorry for the Hijack

I also found a guy here selling a used Citica and will be sending him a MO Today for it . I'll report back on the new combo in a few days I'm going fishing!!!

I am a big Abu fan and I have several 6000... reels but some of the Revos go $160+ and I don't need one that bad so I'll check out the Citica again.
