Yea that's the good thing , most of my favorite colors of stick baits will be fairly simple... The bad news is I just spent $35 on blanks and I still have to spend another $35 on hooks and I still need an airbrush and that's $100 for a good one and probably $50 in paint! OUCH!!! $220 would buy a lot of 110s!

I've found some megabass 110 type clone blanks and I am wanting to try my hand at painting some jerkbaits and was wondering who has tried this and how did the nock off blanks preform? What blanks did you use and what hooks/rings did you use? How did they 1- sound? 2- suspend? 3- were they durable? I have got prices on katsuage 4 hooks and split rings from Megabass that I'll use for hooks...

I either use nanofil with a Abrazx leader or 100% abrazx. I like the nanofil the best but I HATE to tie on a new leader on the water! Yes I fish around razorclambs when I fish for smallies.

I use 7.1 for everything, I don't have a problem reeling faster or slower. I have 1, 5.1 reel left and wish it was faster

We made it, the bleach lady bleached my shirt and it's ruined!!!! I hope the cold doesn't shut the fish down because I've caught 3 today! By the way we can BBQ at the b&b it's got 4 grills and tons of seating out of the wind and the owners said it was oK.

Look for a used Curado 50e they are the easiest reel for a beginner to use
