  1. their cranking veritas, they also have a cranking revo reel under the same name and made the rod to match....the ultimate setup for abu fans...dd22 =
  2. smh@ some of the replies knowing bps they may just swap it out for you without any problems
  3. if this topic touched someones nerve id believe they have some deep rooted issues..I doubt it did Im sure you can find someone with a lh reel you know that would allow you to try it out and see if its for you before you buy one
  4. That looks sexy, the Mrs. may have to sleep on the floor next to the dog,
  5. better than my proposed offer I was going to type up
  6. I rarely ever do purposely for the sake of "Imay lose a fish", unless I see my braid looks raggedy of feel something weird on other lines. I change lures often enough tho or have to repair my frogs so I guess the knots are pretty fresh for the most part.
  7. pandoras box has been opened The chronarch has been out longer and has a solid track record so far. The gen 3 revos are new so the hiccups may not be worked out yet, if any are there. I own neither this review was just posted on the stx http://bit.ly/W2FrevoSTX
  8. great tutorial...easy to follow
  9. I have been catching the heck out of them. Quite big also. When Im using the frog its like 12 snakes to 1 bass. Using other lures or worms its all bass, bass have now becoe the fallback fish.
  10. cheeeeeep, especially when the reel is 80 at tw.com
  11. no I havent, ive seen some decent reviews and its not expensive at all
  12. distance...arbor combo? http://www.pfluegerfishing.com/products/products.php?p=86
  13. did you try what I posted...thats the combo in the pic with the black release screw for the sideplate. Both my lews/revo have the same release mech, even the bass pro pq..but its a pull pin
  14. does it have a screw on the handle side that loosens the side plate on the opposite side(next to the word spool)? It looks like a black screw on the cabellas site....that should loosen then you should be able to twist off the side plate from history of other reels http://images.cabela...wGWhro-LqASAGAM
  15. try the 2 stickies on setup and casting in this forum
  16. I had a carrot mh, 2 in fact, one lost buttcap within a day and the other had a spiral crack around the tip going down the rod. I loved the rod but the durability issues are ugh, Id still try it again just because I like the color, lol. Only rod Ive ever had a problem with, has to be manufacturing probs because I always raise an eye to people breaking rods. I caught less than 5 bass on it probably, missed 2 snakes on it.. I have a mh veritas also, micro guide version, its stiff like people said, more to heavy side. Its my favorite rod I have a bps mh micro carbonlite which I used to frog fish, bottom contact fish, and I have used it for flukes, it may work for you. I have used it exclusively the past month as my frog rod, I dont fish for bass when Im in an area I can catch snakes, bass happen on accident for me and it handles them too. A few 2-3lb fish, no monsters. It handled these and many others with my drag locked down all the way, so Im sure a bass wouldnt be a prob

  20. I have a tournament mg in lefty 7. I use it for whatever basically. Got it from gander
  21. You can probably just go to walmart and mess with one first hand. My friend has one, nice rod. Really light and balances well with 7 and 8oz reels. I wish it had a texas rig hook keeper. Made in the usa.
  22. magical day
