I do scrutch, but since I have sent Dobyns a $60 check before for replacement, I would hate to give up warrentee just to get one used. but hey, if the deal is good enough used is always good!

thanks, guys. looking for 733, 734, 743, 744, 784. I bought my 733, 734 that I have now for $180 each from sportmans warehouse , but they dont have Dobyns anymore. so I was really looking for a place like that to buy new from, so I could have the warentee.

is there anyplace that is cheaper than others? looking for a new place to buy Dobyns, since the place I used to went under.

I am interested in a line counter that works too. I want to try Tatsu this spring and want to do 3 reels with 1, 200yd spool. which would be 65 yards each reel. I would gladly do the braid with leaders, but I have the issue of the joining knot, not coming through the guides well. Which is not an issue with pitching and flipping but sucks on long cast.

I guess I am ready : ordered LOADS of skirts from fishing skirts.... a load of football heads from Northstar.... the vise smalljaw recemended.. all i need is wire to tie with now, I am guessing I can get that at BPS this weekend. cant wait to start tie my first!!

hate to list something not listed..........tackelwarehouse. I go to bass pro shop, look come home and order. Though I do spend more than my share at BPS. and I am waiting a dicks sale notification from here on the boards.....that said, I never been to my local dicks.

I had a friend that did it in a few local matches, after he got his *** kicked a few times he found a new hobby. it is not how good of shape you are in or how good martal arts you are, it boils down to can you FIGHT. I always say.....never know till you try! I wish you luck and hope you win every match.

didnt miles take a knee with 4 + minutes left at Ole Miss?? Bobby is a classless act, with the way he acted today. he has rubbed it in on teams before, IE throwing downfield TRYING to score. Miles was, IMO, was not "trying to score" cause if he was............he would have ran the ball, ZING!

I have been using the paca chunks as well...........until my friend was kicking I disagree with his zoom chunk.......and the difference is the paca is more "aggressive"........when I borrowed a zoom from him I instantly started to get bit. knowing this, I wanted opinions on everyones favorite on both sides of the spectrum.

ok guys lets here your top 3 aggressive trailers and your top 3 "subtle" trailers. lots of talk about jigs this time of year so lets give trailers some love too. also this is a question I have been wondering about, since everyone has a opinion and favorite.

^^^ THIS!!! went fishing with my friend and his tournament partner and caught 47.......I only caught 8.....BUT in the last 15 minutes I did change trailers to the ZOOM and hooked up and landed 4 of my 8 in 10 cast. they would only peck and nibble the paca craw trailer, never taking the bait. but with the ZOOM they would suck it in and take it. I actually had my friend fish with my stuff and he said WOW you are right they only tap it never take it......... lesson learned. THANKS guys.

He is a better jig fishman than me, of course I just started and he has been fishing for 8 years or more.and he has said it put in LOTS of time jig fishing we talked a lot on the how and what of flipping a jig so I understand it. and I actually did start to mimic him after a few fish lol I think he does work it faster than me, or at least I know he did for the most part on the 2nd day. he was actually impressed with how I could flip, given the time I have been fishing. as far as baits, dont know, but I spent good money on Northstar jigs and refuse not to use themLOL. I was just surprised more than anything to get my butt kicked that bad, and wanted to rant. thanks for all the replies.

ok so I have fished twice with a friend of mine (once in front once in back of boat) he has out fished me 14-0 on flipping jigs over 2 trips. he is using a Luck e srike 3/8 football head black and blue jig from wal mart with a zoom chunk trailer I am using a 3/8 alien head "alimony" northstar jig with a paca chunk trailer balack and blue or black and blue flake dipped in clear JJ's this is driving me crazy cause we talk so much trash , LOL. My only saving grace is I can pick up fish on a spinnerbait, later in the day..........but man there is nothing like catch fish on a jig!

Do not bescared of student loans, they are not that bad. Most times, you do not have to start paying until 6 months after you grad. Also, most times you get 5 years of payment forbearance. All in all,I took all my forbearance time and really didn’t rack up that much interest. Owed justshort of 18K and have a payment of $100 a month at 3.5% interest. More oftenthan not, the horror stories you hear are people that planned on defaulting onthe loan from the get go and simply refuse to pay. Good luck Austin.
