Best Soft Plastic Craw?
Rage Craw - I know it's been mentioned a lot but that should tell you something Zoom Speed Craw - slender profile, flat out catches them Xcite Bait Raptor Tail Junior - surprised this has not been mentioned . http://www.***.com/Xcite_Baits_Raptor_Tail_Junior_6pk/descpage-XBRTJ.html

Huddleston Shad
Great finesse swimbait, I prefer the weedless version . I throw it on a heavy action rod with 17 lb florocarbon, hooksets are no problem . Could probably get it done with a little lighter rod/ reel combo if need be .

How Many New Baits?
If it's a new bait to me I will buy a small quantity until it proves itself . If I like it then I stock up on multiples of key colors . Probably the one lure class I don't usually do that with is topwaters because I rarely lose them .

Yum Christie/money Craws
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the Yum version was modeled after the Go 2 Baits Swim n' Craw which is a hand pour with high flotation plastic, try this link if you want to give them a try https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CDQQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tackleexperts.com%2Fgo2-baits-swim-craw-p-128357.html%3FosCsid%3Danmhhrltdegquyna&ei=_PQGVZ3QFMLDggSf_oKgBw&usg=AFQjCNGy1hOidUR2JuNij15v6YeepYXIuw&sig2=G_WjMsfA6B8yFU498ULKLg

Thinking About Getting A Megabass F6-70Xx Tour Versatile Rod
I would love to hear from anyone who has used this rod . I would be fishing it with 17 lb Florocarbon , typically using sinkers ranging from 1/4 to 3/4 oz and fishing Brush Hogs, 10 " Ribbon Tail worms and other larger soft plastics targeting largemouth . How is this rod in terms of sensitivity for bottom contact lures in deeper water and hook setting power ? Any comments and opinions would be appreciated . Thanks

Favorite Jig ?
I like their NoJack Punchin' jigs from 3/4 to 1-1/2 oz. The Strike Hack Attack Jigs are also very good.

Ribbon Tail Worm
I fish them every summer, most of the time a 10" Powerworm. Last year tried the Big Bite Bait Kriet tail and fell in love with that bait as it seemed to produce a bigger average over the Powerworm . I will use both this year and see if that trend still continues . Here is a good write up on this bait https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCEQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fanother sitearchives.com%2Fbig-bite-baits-kriet-tail-worm%2F&ei=hui2VJr_G5b_sATjoILoBA&usg=AFQjCNHnNICgVBGqVjXXtMz-qHzIpArAXw&sig2=9I21qj9crnVzTxYBs-sPYw

Best Floating Worm For Shaky Heads?
I believe that if they are hitting the bait as it falls it probably does not matter if the worm floats . That said it is my opinion that a buoyant soft bait will get you more bites over the course of season especially on tough days when you need to deadstick it.. I've done very well with getting 5" or 6" Senko profile baits poured without salt and it seems to attract a bigger bite on average than a Roboworm for me .That said I get it poured by a local hand pour guy and many probably won't try it because it's not a brand name that they can pick up at a BPS or TW , the Hag's Tornado would probably be a good alternative. I prefer a 1/4 football head with a mag hook for the beefier senko profile or 3/8 oz if it's extra deep or windy . Another great bait if you are after bigger fish is try the Xcite bait Maximus which has accounted for a couple of 20 lb plus ( big for Michigan largemouth ) stringers for me or in the very least an occasional kicker fish . It's not as consistent for me as the Senko profile but the Big Girls really like it at times. Xcite offers jigheads to match this bait or sometimes I will use a Mag Title shot with a more pointed nose when fishing grass .

Ima Bill Lowen Crankbait
The Flit is my favorite jerkbait and the squarebill has also been a productive bait for me .

Lures You Tried In 2014 That Did Work
New baits that performed well for me .... Strike King Rage Structure bug - texas rig with a 3/8 or 1/2 oz tungsten weight has been catching quality fish Heavy Grass jigs with a Rage Craw trailer - 1 to 1-1/2 oz , throwing in the grass or sandgrass off the main weed line for reaction bites. I like both the SK Hack Attack jig and Dirty Jigs No Jack Punchin' jigs. 50 lb braid & flipping stick Weedless Huddleston Shad- great change of pace to swimming RI Skinny Dippers in the grass Duo Realis Lipless crankbait - excels for rippin' retrieves 10" Big Bite Bait Kriet tail worms - bulkier than the Berkley power worms and seems to attract bigger bites Eco Pro Tungsten buzzbaits - very loud and unique sound, hook is on the small side so I recommend that you add a trailer. Rediscovered buzz baits this year

Best Jerkbait For Around $10
Strike King KVD & Rapala X rap for that price range though my favorites are made by Ima, Megabass and Lucky Craft .

What Size Jig Trailer Do You Normally Use?
I personally try to match the trailer with the size of the hook instead of the weight of the jig. One of my favorite jigs is a Kietech casting jig which comes with a small hook & light weedguard. I fish this with small trailers & light line. When fishing something like a Strike King Hack Attack jig with a large heavy wire hook I will fish it with a flipping stick, braided line and a full size trailer like a Rage Craw for example . Of course the variety of jigs & trailer combinations are endless .

Zoom Centipede
Rig sideways with a 2/0 owner offset hook and stick the nailweight in the tail of the bait it will glide down toward the fish. Great way to get a lot of bites postspawn . It also works well on a mojo rig .

I Have A Bait That Does Not Exist
I've got a little different take, I have not seen an imitator that is equal to the Senko, they also make a very impressive selection of colors. Isn't there a color that is currently available that would be very close ? Chances are that it will perform very well on that body of water, also it could be he was doing something different presentation wise . Last but not least he had success because he found the fish . All that being said I've been there regarding having to hunt down a certain color or bait. One possibility is that certain tackle shops have exclusives on certain color runs for example Monster Tackle... http://www.*.com/Yamamoto-Senko-Monster-Shad-p/yamamoto-monster-shad-senko.htm
