Funny thing is the only thing I now use that is in this pic is the T-shirt, still got little worn out but 10 year old shirts are susposed to be comfortable lol. I have seen that guy before I think. If I am not mistaken he runs / or works at a guide service at table rock lake. I had a bunch of brouchers for guide services for the rock and I think I seen a pic of him in one of them. I remeber it because I told my wife he looked like Clunn. I'll see if I can find those if my wife hasn't thrown them out. If it is that guy, it would explain where he caught those monster smallies.

I have never used the Cabelas rods so I am not much help, but I have used several BPS rods and have always been pleased! I like the BPS Extreme models good rod for the money!

You could always meet me at Table Rock Lake April 3-7! I am staying at Big Cedar Lodge. Went last year and going back this year if that tell's you anything I have caught all three species of black bass at the rock. Numbers and size in each species what more could you ask for. Of Course you could make the third annual BassResource trip to the rock next year, Just a thought, I am sure everyone would enjoy the multi-species of bass in one body of water. Hope you get on those Smallies one way or another they are the best!!

Welcome aboard! I'm with RoadWarrior the SJR783S is a great rod. It is what I use for tossing 3/8oz - 1/2oz spinnerbaits.

The Rapala and joined forces storm, Terminator etc. etc., along with the Lure net co. Bomber, Pradco, Yum etc. etc. will be the only two companies if they keep buying everyone out. Which may be a good thing because that helps keep prices down.

Just finished this bait, and have several more to complete, just wanted to see what everyone here had to say about it. 1/4oz hand poured bullet head powder coated red, with holographic eyes and clear epoxy coat. Owner 3/0 hook. Triple blade design #3.5 nickle willow leaf blade, two #3 gold colorado blades. The blades are Bass Pro Shops XPS. White and red two tone skirt with silver glitter.

Ok back to the subject! That is one sweet list! All the way down to 102. I hope I get my name in the top 100 this year! I don't think the record is getting broken this year. To be honest I think it will stand for another 4 or 5 years, just my personal opinion.

Bass Pro Shops Bionic Blade Rods are pretty good rods for the money, and they are currently on sale right now for $59.99. Check out BPS website, these rods have an average rating of 4.8 out of 5.0 with 22 reveiws. Read the reveiws there are some pretty good words said about these rods. I had one a few years back and it was an excellent rod. I now use BPS Extreme rods.

Perry's fish is the record reguardless of any ones doubt. It is number one so we should not even be questioning it's exsitance. 22lbs 4oz is the mark. Until someone catches a largemouth bigger, it will remain number one in the record book. Why would anyone want to bash a man for an astounding accomplishment ,especially since that man is no longer alive to defend himself.

Those look like Bass Pro Shops XPS blades. If so they are the top of the line. They are what I use on my baits. They look great keep up the good work!
